Twilight in the Market
Violet hues painted the sky in tones of lavenders and pinks. It barely touched the market that was forever draped in silks of all colours and shapes. In the brightness of twilight the colours draped the market in colours before the lights would begin to come on.
Natalie watched the colours with a contented smile. She heard the laughter of her coworkers near by, and decided to focus. She didn't want to linger too long in the market, otherwise she wouldn't be going home anytime soon. As she walked closer to the girls, her eyes drifted to a tall man, bent over stained glass cups. Natalie found herself watching the back of him to the point where she walked straight into someone.
She looked up startled, apologies already pouring out of her lips. "Ah, Natalie, there you are." The kind middle aged woman, murmured.
Natalie's boss, Quinlee, was a rather exacting sort of woman. Always focused on the most minisicule of details. It was even why they were all there today, instead of heading home. "I was hoping you hadn't left yet, I wanted to share some news with you, and your team." She gestured to two other girls, and a single man. Natalie's PR team was a newly matched group. Natalie had joined two years ago, but Raela and Luella had been with the company for near ten years. The man, Drake, started with the company just a year after Natalie joined.
"If you will all give me your attention, I know it's the end of the day, and you all most likely want to go home." Quinlee murmured, crinkles appearing near her eyes as she smiled warmly at all of them.
"We've recently acquired a new contract, from a business partner, and I would like all of you to create a marketing plan with a couple of representatives from their team."
"That sounds great." Raelyn, replied.
"Who's the partner," Drake asked.
Quinlee, glanced once at Natalie before her eyes flicked back to Drake.
"Reign Enterprises."
