Prologue

She turned to look at the lake in front of her, but the view was barely visible. Even though it is so near to the water, it appears to be cloudy. Her blue eyes flash with a smile as she turns to face me; the wind lifts up her hair and blows it in front of her face. I turned my head and looked at the water. The sun’s rays reflected off the sea, enhancing the beauty of the ocean. However, the sight of it made me feel sick because of how much water was in it. I shook my head and turned to face her only to see that she was gone. I suppose it’s only in my head.

She felt sick to her stomach, and I believe it was the water. She fell to the sand beneath my feet, and I believe the water has done it. I think the water is what made her lose her vision.

She was too weak to open her eyes, and I think the water was the cause.

I know the water is what caused her heart to stop.

Winter. Rest your eyes, and follow the path to home.

I'll be there soon.

Loved, Loudly

Merrell Bunting: Well written, kind of quiet story, I enjoyed it. I am still a bit perplexed over whether this was a second chance mating story with choosing or completely a chosen mate story. If it is a chosen mate tale it leaves one a bit worried about a fated mate showing up. Either way it was a nice read.
