Intro
Warning this story depicts a realistic look into the lives of Native Americans in the 1800′s. Graphic painful words are used to describe things. To do this any other way would be a false representation of the things my ancestors endured to survive. This book is for strong adults who can handle such things. As I will not sugar coat history for the sake of a few who cannot handle it. This book is for all those who came before me who are the reason that I am here.

: In honor of the Bridge of The Gods. The endless life in the rivers and our ancestors who had love and oneness with the earth.
“Our old women gods, we ask you!
Our old women gods, we ask you!
Then give us long life together,
May we live until our frosted hair is white;
May we live till then.
This life that now we know! “ - Lakota prayer.
With thanks to all who kept me on the writing path deep in my heart.
