Chapter One

After falling asleep during history class, a teen wakes up to find his school and town apparently abandoned, for what looks like years. He wanders around the school and finds a door he has never seen before he opens the door and finds a flight of stairs that wind downwards. He follows the stairs down a dark and dank basement. The basement was pitch black except for an old furnace. Justice, cold and scared, went to the furnace to warm up while standing in front of the furnace. He opened up his backpack and grabbed his small everyday survival kit. You see, Justice was no ordinary kid. His father always taught him how to be a survivalist. Justice and his father went on many trips together. On those trips his father taught him how to capture and clean animals for food, how to identify plants for medicine and food, how to start fires and use a compass to navigate so even on a normal day of school Justice carries his kit with him wherever he goes. While Justice was looking through his kit he heard footsteps from the back corner of the basement. Justice reached into his kit and pulled out a paracord keychain with a flashlight attached and to his surprise an old man wearing dirty old blood stained civil war uniform appeared he said I am the gatekeeper of time my name is Zafras and I need your help see you come from a long bloodline of gatekeepers of

history the evil Malcolm who once was a gatekeeper and is always trying to change history has taken two important keys these keys do not look like keys they are objects to be precise they are objects from two of the greatest scientist of all time the first one is the Apple that fell on Isaac

Newton’s head and Nikola Tesla’s AC Motor.

Bargara4670: I have marked the ratings down because it was obviously originally written in a foreign language and translated into English. Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
