I could say that I loved this book, but it wouldn't be enough to sum it up. I felt it. Every single word of it. I hoped with it, loved with it, and cried with it. A lot. I don't know how to express how deeply touching this novel is, how truthfully raw the emotions depicted are, how it can stab your soul and pierce through your heart as steadily as an arrow would do.

It is not something about the plot, which, if unsheathed from all the embellishments, would be a rather common one. It is more about the characters. They are all so true and human that it's nearly impossible not to feel what they do. Ada and Sam are something more than the classical youthful star crossed lovers. They are flawed humans that live their lives to the fullest. They love living so deeply and selfishly that the reader is forced to relate to their situation and feelings.
This whole book pushes and pull at its reader's chords. In the end you're bound to admit how selfish you are. How much we all are selfish when it comes to our lives and feelings.
