I like your writing style. The story flows smoothly and it is not problematic to understand. Although, there are some parts that you are not explaining in detail, about how things got there, or why is happening. The interaction with the characters could be improved a bit more, expressing better their feelings, like is not believable why the change of heart.
I believe that if you improve in developing a strong dialog between them, your story will be more awesome than it is right now.
