Sharp, Complex and Riveting

With characters as complex as they get, Glass Mask is a real treat for those who love a clever story that delves into what it means to be human. Jagged in shape, each of the characters struggle to fit into the world around them and the relationships they encounter, providing a stark insight into questions of morality and desire. All of this is interwoven in a compelling thriller narrative that will keep you guessing, and perhaps even prompt you to reflect upon the state of your own soul...

How can you possibly resist?

A breath of fresh air in the drama/romance genre, In Liasion takes us out of the realm of melodrama and switches it for the mundane- but do not be fooled: this is precisely where the richness of the story lies. A Hidden Gem

As a lover of all things Finnish, this book immediately caught my eye. It was very refreshing to see Finland explored in a short story, as it is a beautiful place with a rich culture that is often overlooked. The writer did an excellent job of describing the beauty of the Finnish wilderness and it was interesting to learn more about the country's mythology. Even if you don't know any of the myths or the language, the writer explains it to you clearly without making the writing sound stilted. However, at times the writing style can be a bit clunky, and there are several grammar mistakes throughout. That being said, this book is a hidden gem- just like the country it celebrates.
