Chapter 1 : Arrival
The story begins with Kavya, who is traveling to her ancestral village in Himachal.
Feeling free on the green paths, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, she arrives at her village.
As she enters the village, she sees her close uncle.
"Ram Singh Uncle! How are you?"
"I'm fine, child! It's been a long time. Come on, let's go home. Your aunt will be very happy to see you."
"How is my aunt? And how is Lala?"
"My Child! ask her when you get home. Why are you bombarding me with questions as soon as you arrive?" Ram Singh said with a smile.
At Ram Singh's house, his wife hugged Kavya and pampered her. "Daughter, your face is exactly like your mother's. She looked like you in her youth. The poor thing left so soon."
Kavya's face became sad as she remembered her mother.
Lala, Ram Singh's son, said to his mother in irritation, "What, Mom? You made sis sad as soon as she arrived!"
"But Lala, she was my good friend. That's why I remembered her. Kavya, don't feel bad. Come and eat, daughter."
Everyone sat down to eat at the dining table when Ram Singh asked, "Daughter, how did you get here? Is everything alright?"
Kavya said something that left Ram Singh choking on his food. His wife stopped serving.
Kavya said that she had come to the village to convert her grandfather's mansion into a hotel.
Ram Singh: Son, in that mansion...
Interrupting him, Kavya said, "Uncle, you too believe in those rumers? The world has come so far, and you still believe in such things?"
"Daughter, do whatever you want, but you won't stay at that mansion overnight," Ram Singh said.
"But Uncle..."
"Enough! Just listen to what I said, daughter."
Kavya nodded, although she wanted to stay at the mansion.
The next morning, Kavya arrives at the mansion with Lala.
Lala: "sisi, I don't like this place. Let's go, we'll come back some other time."
Kavya: "Hey, wait, brother. This isn't the time to run away. We have some work to do tomorrow. You call a good contractor and find out the cost of renovating the mansion. I have to visit my childhood friend, Radha."
Lala: "Let's go."
Kavya: "Okay, son. Why is that?"
Lala: I want to meet Radha's younger sister. I like her.
Kavya: Who? that Sangeeta? She's a good choice.
They reach Radha's house while talking. Radha is overjoyed to see Kavya.
They weren't real sisters, but they lived like sisters.
Radha: "You've remembered me after a long time."
Kavya: Hey friend, I miss you all the time.
Seeing a young man standing in the distance, Radha asked, "Who is he?"
Radha: He's my maternal uncle's son, Prashant.
Just then, Prashant arrives; he was impressed by Kavya as soon as he saw her.
Kavya: Hello, how are you? My name is Kavya.
Prashant: I'm fine, I'm even better now that I've come to visit your village. By the way, I'm Prashant.
Kavya: Nice to meet you, Prashant.
Prashant said without delay, "So, won't you show me around your village? I'm your guest."
Radha (bringing tea for them): Why not? Let's go together.
Kavya: Nice idea.
The three of them go to the upper part of a nearby waterfall.
Prashant: Hey, let's go down and see what the waterfall looks like.
Radha and Prashant went down the path near the waterfall. Although the waterfall wasn't that high, it was certainly steep enough to cause a fall. As Kavya was descending, her foot suddenly slipped, and she fell into a rocky ravine...
Radha and Prashant watched from a distance as she fell on the other side.
Radha screamed and ran towards Kavya, and Prashant also ran towards her. As they approached the ravine, they saw that Kavya...
