The brothers have a checkered past, and only Vinnie knows how to handle their enemies. Well, AJ's enemies. But then he sees Amelia, and beneath her expertly applied make up, he sees her scars. The sweet, quiet woman refuses to even look at him, and he is hooked. Determined to find out who's hurting her, he begins to ask questions...ones he won't like the answers to. Amelia tries to ignore Vinnie but she soon realises he isn't going anywhere. What happens when Vinnie meets old ghosts trying to save her?

Miriam: I liked the way the plot was set up and then the relationship progressed. Some may not like the discretion but it all led up to a very happy ending with a bit of suspense leading up to it. Definitely a cliffhanger. Waiting for a follow-up.
