Remnant is a mysterious young adult novel that follows primarily the experiences of a teenager by the name of Ethan. With the ups and downs of hormones and uncertainty, we navigate his struggles with memory loss in a new world where such an experience is common. But secrets have a way of getting out. Strange tattoos, "glitches," whispers, missing time, or memories that don't make sense. Some people know more than they let on, and some are just a bit too suspicious to trust. Who's the real enemy, here? How did they wind up here? What's real, what's not?
The strongest bit of this story is the foundation, a great idea. There's passion and clear intent in the writing, and I truly look forward to the next version of this. I will note that Ethan's perspective is my favorite. I'm not sure how much we need the bits from anyone else's POV, even if it gives us more information. I'd like to see what would happen if we only got everything from Ethan, how that would change the way the book reads?

Interesting!

This story is shaping up to be an interesting read! This plot-driven mystery follows a dreary highschooler named Frank in a town that definitely feels more Twin Peaks than anything else. Always with a subtle, eerie edge to it, we follow Frank and his friends as they begin to experience some weird happenings. A murder, a threat--things that seem to be tied to Frank's past. To top it all off, a strange new girl that's connected to it all shows up. But the real question is... Is she a friend or foe?

Hot & romantic

Literally stumbled upon this by accident, and binged it all in one go! It's half past three in the morning, so I suppose it's not that great for my health 😜 Beautiful words with some great references and nods to Greek Mythology, with some lovely celestial and elemental themes sprinkled throughout. Love it!

Beautiful writing, beautiful story

With rich descriptions and lovely imagery, we uncover the life of Elise, the grandmother of the main character. We get to explore themes of mourning, guilt, and complicated love. The writing is simply exquisite. Well done, can't wait to read more of your work!

♥️ Lovely

A sweet coming-of-age historical fiction follows Sarah, a little girl from London, as she adjusts to life in the countryside to seek sanctuary from WWII. Full of love and sentiment, the author flawlessly navigates daily life with Sarah and her new family and friends, from radio shows, to blackouts, to gas masks. Things are just starting to get a little more drastic as the war goes on, and we are beginning to see the affects on Sarah's life.

This story is obviously being written from the heart. You can feel the love through the words and actions of the characters. I know it's going to get difficult for the beloved main characters, so I wouldn't say I'm "excited" for new chapters, but I await them eagerly to check on Sarah and Max!

Dragons, dogs, swords and leather with adventure and danger. What more could you ask for?

We follow Verrine, a skilled young woman living in a harsh and deadly patriarchy. She finds her power amplified when this amethyst stone comes into her possession, and she vows to right the wrongs done to her and her loved ones once she gets even stronger.

Still ongoing as I write this, and I'm super psyched to watch more chapters come in. 5/5, a great high fantasy with so much more coming!

Hooked already!

One of my favorite tropes: fake dating. I'm excited to see where it goes. The voice is very strongand prevalent throughout. It's just started, but I hope there's more to come!

Good twist!

It's just the beginning, so I know a lot of cool stuff is incoming. There's a very catchy twist right at the beginning, so it was easy to want to read more. Grammar did hurt the style a bit. A good editor will help clean that up, and we'll be able to see the world a bit better.
Great first shot at a story. I can tell it's going to be a lot of fun, and I really hope you keep going!

What a hook!

I'm an avid lover of RPGs, and this book fits that description to the T. The writing is lovely and exciting, and in just the first two chapters, I'm left wondering what's going to happen next. Well done! I look forward to more!

A great start to an epic tale

I've only gotten to read the first story in this series, but I'm immensely interested in Elianna's story and the fantasy and mystery that surrounds her. Beautiful and haunting imagery, a natural narrative, and memorable characters punctuate this short story. Highly recommend.

And an aside, I hope Taryn returns at some point in the future. I adored him.

Addicting

Clicked on a whim, stayed for the very likeable Persephone and her incredible relationships with people. I'm not done yet but I'll probably binge the rest just like I have from the beginning!

Fun start!

We're only given a little taste of what's to come, but I can say I'm excited. The blurb got me trading, and the tone of the writing is easy enough to just keep going without noticing any time passing. I look forward to keeping up with future updates!

Why did it have to end?

I desperately hope the author is still writing this. The snippet caught me and by the third chapter, I was in deep. Loveable characters, fascinating setting, and a plot that's just gotten started. I look forward to more!

I swear I read the beginning of this when it was first getting written. It was so strange to stumble upon this by chance to get to know the rest of the story. I'm not done yet, but it's hard to stop reading!

Delicious Vengeance

A lot of stories surrounding vengeance or revenge end with a sappy moral about how it won't make the victim feel better. I'm pleased to feel that this won't be the case. The first few chapters really lead be to believe that we will get a fully violent, sickening and satisfying end. This is a dark tale--no false advertising there. If you want dark, you've got it here.

We follow a severely tortured soul who is looking to torture whoever wronged him. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to get ALL of his enemies, and so now he must find a way to use his evil form to find relief from this burning hatred he has for a deeper kind of evil.

As far as improvements, you're already aware that a savvy editor can clean up some comma help, so I won't repeat it. But finishing it will help too ;) I look forward to a disgusting and satisfying ending!

Compelling!

We follow a simple farm boy, Leo, on the cusp of adulthood as he navigates a horrible tragedy and crime committed to his lifelong village. A true fantasy, this story has magic, stories, creatures, and adventures. It is a lovely draft. I love the plot, I love the characters. With a thorough editor, this story has an impressive future ahead!
