Ok to start off this review, Sterling is one hell of a Dom 🥵🥵 He’s so brooding, hard, and hella possessive.. I LOVE IT. I really loved the fact that all the sexy scenes we got were mostly flashbacks and fantasy scenes, if you will, that was one lovely ass twist. My god you did really great with the opening of this book and the meaty chappies afterward.

I’m really upset her husband is a mook who can’t please his wife for shit. Manz deadass only engaged in smex after she got him aching for püssy and just let himself finish without even thinking to check if his wife came even just a little bit. Type of shit bro 😂😂

Anywho…

Really great character buildup and backstory. The smexy scenes were spicy and erotic, so perfect.

Good story!

This story definitely had more texture to it, a very nicely structured plot, and some intriguing characters. I found myself enjoying the read as the authors detailed descriptions allowed me to sink into it.

I liked the way the vampires were introduced here, although it left me with some questions and the occasional eyebrow raise.

Overall, I enjoyed it! Only thing that did bother me a bit were the misspellings scattered here and there, and some grammatical errors. But, it was easy to overlook as the plot was good!

Amazing!

I absolutely enjoyed diving into this read! I’m so happy I set time aside to sink into the novel, it was most definitely worth the wait!

I really enjoyed the plot pacing for the novel, it was comfortable enough to get a feel of all the characters being introduced along with a small glimpse into their back stories! We, the readers, got an understanding of who the main character is as an individual, a sense into her personality and thought process. Along with a back story to both the main character and those important to her in her life. It was very clear and easy to absorb.

When I tell you the transition into the magic within this world was unexpected and a true joy to witness, it’s because it was! I was taken aback for a moment when Kathryn released her ability in one of the first chapters, not telling you exactly what cause ~ well ~ spoilers! But the introduction to the magic and the set rules for said magic was absolutely perfect! We got another glimpse into the past, a perfect way to explain without it being information dumping! Excellent work in that respect.

Overall, I really enjoyed this read! It was such a joy to sink into. The characters we very real and believable, and the magical world was introduced wonderfully. The author has a distinct and beautiful writing style, very oriented around detail, thus bringing these characters to life with her attention to detail.

The book was a decent read, I thought the characters were pretty funny and unique in their own ways.

Lucas, the main love interest in this story, has a really possessive and dominant persona to him, all the while having a humorist personality. Selena, the protagonist, went through a rough past with her father, who sold to a random man who turned out to be decent. Selena’s character was full of snarky remarks and a bit of sass. All this tied together really makes for a compelling romance between the two, which it was!! We learn some very...interesting things about the protagonist.

I must mention that I do find that the novel could use some improvements on formatting and grammar; all of which could be fixed with some deep editing and a few rounds of proofreading. The suggestions in the comments presented some valid points on the book and what could help improve the overall look of it. With all this in mind, the book definitely has potential to be great!

Oh my goodness I must compliment you on how well built your story was! My god I really enjoyed reading your work! It truly reminded me of Harry Potter and books alike! Although your story of course has your own unique twist along with your language. The characters were great and realistic, the dialogue never laid flat and had a fluid like flow to it. The descriptions, oh my, they were perfect! Truly amazing work! Well done ☺️

A great story!

What intrigued me: the direction this plot takes is a very unique and singular one. I’m one to write polyamorous relationships so it’s very refreshing to see another fellow author dive into those waters as well. I’m not poly myself but I love the “why choose when you can have both” trope in both my reading and writing. I must say, I do appreciate the LGBT aspects of this novel cause they’re so damn vivid and the relationships are actually CUTE!! Again, very well written in terms of the relationship dynamics and how well it works with the plot.

The plot’s best aspects: Now, I’m a fan of supernatural I’m sure we all can agree if you take a peek at my profile. Shifters, angels, demons, you name it I write it. This story does an incredible job of introducing us to the supernatural world. It takes a minute and of course it cuts off as this is a sample. Chapter 13 and 18 throw me off a bit because it’s such a huge jump in the storyline but I can totally understand the decision to include them. Also, I must say the erotic aspects of this story are insanely good!! I find myself really in the moment when their intimate scenes pop up and holy do I need a water break haha

Any afterthoughts I can share with the author: I’m no editor, nor do I portray myself as one, so when I review books on free apps K usually stray away from pointing out any mistakes. Now with all of that said I didn’t find any mistakes as I was too enthralled by the story to focus on those technicalities. I mean who geos into a story searching for the mistakes? You’re just going to end up ruining a potentially great book for yourself. Anyway, I noticed the author gave us a sample of this story, not sure if it’s a WIP she’s planning on publishing, but I must tell her now… DO IT!! If you’re planning on self publishing I promise this book will do great with some marketing toward the correct audience. Also, a great cover would do this story wonders! You can get a free cover from a shop on Wattpad! They have some amazing designers.

Beautifully thought and and unique story!

Attention all readers please pick up this masterpiece!! This story is downright incredible and deserves such a huge audience. 💙

You’ll be captured the moment you lay eyes on the Dragon King over here, with good reason too, might I add. Nah but in all seriousness you’ll be captured with the intensely detailed scenes and depictions of emotion between character. I promise you’ll actually feel every scene and interaction.

I really enjoyed and connected with the main character, she’s very funny, headstrong and easy to resonante with. Not to mention her feisty ass “take no shit from anyone” personality is really one hell of a kick to this story! Im very used to the fluffy, break down over anything main characters (I myself am guilty of this 😆) so this take is very refreshing.

The chemistry between the two main characters is insane and absolutely simmering. I can totally see how they click. Between the macho man that is the dragon king, cruel exterior with that “I rule this kingdom and no one will come between my ruling” persona, and our feisty heroine over here not cracking against his prodding demeanor for shit. Oof it’s so easy to follow them and anticipate the outcome.

I have to applaud the author for the amount of time and effort they put into this story cause it really shows! 🖤

An amazing story that will draw you in!

A great story which will develop into something great from the looks of it. I was immediately hooked in after reading the blurb and diving into the first few chapters. Super detailed descriptions which helped me sink into the story and truly fall into the moment and what these characters were going through.

The only suggestion I have for further improving this great story is to take a look at dialogue tags and action beats! Although the writing style is very vivid and detailed oriented, I noticed in some areas of dialogue that gestures, movements, and/or facial expressions are missing within sections to add to the flow of things. You could do a quick research on how to use action beats properly before, between, and/or after a character is speaking to help enrich your character’s voices. Keep in mind these tags and beats act as rhythm moderators.

Again, your writing style is beautiful and executed just as so! I was absolutely enthralled with this thrilling story and found myself flipping page after page. The characters were realistic and deep, very easy to get a feel of who they are as an individual. The damn situations had my heart in my throat too haha the moments of suspense with every beat, my god, I was hooked!!

The Secret Ingredient

This author literally chose violence for the scenes in this book and I’m here for it! 😆 Really great descriptions! I was immersed in this story. I noticed it’s book two so spoilers ahead!

This author’s writing style is welcoming and easy to sink into, they definitely do not shy away from very descriptive gore scenes, which is refreshing in comparison to the YA horror I’m accommodated to. I am once again fond of the fantasy approach in this series, I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

Great job with Book 2!!

Interesting Read!

I think there needs to be a discussion about mental health and how heavily it affects a persons mind and actions. I do like that this book mentions and sort of winds such topics into the plot. Toby before his abilities was this self conscious boy who only saw himself as disgusting and unworthy of attention. When Toby was granted his abilities he evolved into this confident and ass kicking character which is a complete 180° from where he was at before. I also think the message it sends regarding how important it is for for parents to treat their kids with respect and check in on their mental health is very important and also needs a whole other conversation.

I really loved the fantasy portrayed in this story. It was unique in its own right and I greatly enjoyed it! I was kinda reminded of Alice in wonderland with how crazy some of the scenes were with the chef haha I applaud the author for coming up with this unique plot where the characters gain their abilities through different means and have consequences as a result.

Thank you for writing this story, I had fun venturing into the beginning of it. Keep up the good work and don’t ever feel discouraged!

Choosing Fate

I have to compliment how much of an interesting start to an incredible story with the potential to attract a large audience this was!! I found myself easily invested in this book, eager to know what happens next. The writing style is heavy on suspense and emotional connection, beautifully portrayed scenes as well.

Each character has a unique voice and the romance is wonderfully written. It was very easy to sink into each character’s POV and fall in love with them and the shifters surrounding. I’m interested in seeing what this story will progresses into.

A well written, imaginative book with strong characters. I especially loved the vivid descriptions found in this book. I’m also excited to reach that part in the story where the tropes start settling in! The description hooked me in with the whole “she doesn’t believe in soulmates but comes face to face with destiny/fate” so freaking good!!

Melody’s boyfriend, or better said ex-Assbutt, was such a damn.. well ass. Who breaks up with their girlfriend like that? Deadass on the holiday AND in public. Rude ass prickly bitch.

Now onto the good shit. Sir Zaddy Santa 🎅🏻 Ho Ho Ho holidays year round please. Who knew one could have a Santa kink.. I sure as hell experienced it. The holiday puns in between the raunchy scenes made me cackle but I was quickly brought back into the moment with that sexy old man Santa beneath with the ripped 8 pack and strong planes of a chest right beneath out girl Melody.

Have I mentioned how steamy the smexy scenes were? God what a treat.

Really well written holiday story, I enjoyed every second of it. Aside from the Assbutt ofc.

Intriguing

Very interesting novel! I loved the genuine feel of the characters and their realism, the writing style really helped bring out their personalities. The only thing I’d suggest is to go back and fix some grammatical errors here and there, but it’s very easy to over look as you read along ☺️ Great work!

Freaking AMAZING!!

First of all, Am I so happy I found the time to dive into this book or I really would have missed out on this hidden gem.

The writing style: Beautiful
The characters: Intriguing and passionate
The storyline: Freaking amazing and alluring

This book had me hooked from the start! It’s written beautifully, the descriptions and attention to detail really allowed me to sink into this mysterious and dark world. The characters are full of realism and passion, it’s absolutely wonderful to witness. The dark, mysterious, sexy, and most definitely full of secrets love interests are such a plus to the story as well. Amazing work with this novel!

The potential is there!

I liked it! I had always been a fanatic of the Siren Mythology, so seeing another book filled with this theology was refreshing. The author added her unique twists to the common knowledge about the myths which was also a pleasure to read!

One thing I do suggest for the author to improve her work and polish it is using this incredible page called, Grammarly. The software will definitely help polish up the writing along will the punctuation mistakes and all that good stuff!

I enjoyed reading this authors work! Her story is unique in the sense of plot and writing style. I connected easily with the main character and really enjoyed the introduction to the main love interest, Finn. There were a few grammatical errors but they could easily be overlooked as the story is easy to get lost in. Great Work!

Intriguing Story!

An enjoyable read! Really loved the pacing to this novel, the author did an amazing job with this book! The characters are easy to follow and understand all the while holding interest. The introduction to this world was planned out wonderfully, leaving us with an understanding of the plot. Definitely will stick around for updates.

This authors writing style is very unique and intriguing. We’re introduced to a magical world in a quite proficient manner thanks to her ability to explain the rules of magic. The amount of tension present in her work really leaves the reader intrigued and reading page by page on the edge of their seat. There are a few grammatical errors present within the work, but they can easily be overlooked by the rich plot and the authors writing style. Overall, a lovely read to pick up.
