Popping Out of Pages!

First and foremost, I have never been to Canada, but the way you've painted the place makes me think it's a beautiful and serene country.
Okay, my thoughts about Stories, I was on the fence when I saw its genre was Erotica. But I was glad I got to read this. Why was I fussing about it? So what if it was? XD
It is absolutely normal for married couples to be intimate, Jo!
Anyway, I like realistic stories, shall we say. Stories dealing with mundane complications and pleasures; and delving into the situation of Mark and Monica about their troubles and their suppressed craving for each other have been such a great read. How they recreate what they write for the upcoming respite weekends, their only night for erotic escapades after three months of full parenting mode, is very clever and creative.
I had to hide from everyone when reading the erotic scenes! 😆 I cringed a bit when there was some foot rubbing action. But it was alright, each to their own, I suppose. 😅
I tend to make jokes whenever I feel uncomfortable, and while reading the detailed lovemaking, I cracked jokes under my breath.
Moving swiftly on, being a parent, in my opinion, is a fulfilling and lifelong job. I may not be a parent and have no idea how to raise a child, but I honestly feel sympathetic about their condition with their son, Kevin. It must be challenging. And reading this, hands down, I salute every parent out there for never neglecting their children and sticking by them through tough times. And I absolutely give you, Cameron, great praise for this cause it has made me feel unusual sensations about being a parent and what it must be like to be in marriage!
I genuinely enjoyed Stories. Even though it made me uncomfortable at times due to the high intensity of their conflict and, you know…, sexual exchange, I really liked this book. Great job! 💖

Luna’s Beacon of Hope

When I researched what “Soren” meant and saw it was Latin for Severus, I became curious (I’m a massive fan of the Harry Potter book/film series). The meaning was strict, but the character ‘Soren’ was the opposite, so I had to read for more context. And through Luna’s eyes and journey, I had learned Soren wasn’t just for a name, but the description of how her life was in The Shadow Realm.
Honestly, I was on the fence since I wasn’t usually fond of fantasy books (the Harry Potter series is the only exception). But with the available chapters, I was hooked! I was curious why Luna’s father had been keeping her when they didn’t want her there at all. What kind of power did she possess? Was her father planning to use her “mysterious powers” in the future? And since Midnight called her “half-breed”, what kind of creature was Luna? Half-human? Half-werewolf? These were the things that made me want to read more. Perhaps, it’s just me, but I really liked the father and her twin siblings! XD
I enjoyed what was happening in the story cause I wanted Luna to break free from her cruel family. And her interactions with Soren were so sweet, but he was too good to be true. I expected splendid twists and hoped it wouldn’t end up in clichés.
The technicality part. The switches of tenses had left me confused, but it doesn’t affect the plot. Other than that, I saw some errors, but they won’t be hard to edit as they are easy to spot.
Overall, it is a good story! Surprisingly, I’ve kept on reading, which is somewhat rare for me as Fantasy doth not tickle my fancy. All in all, Soren was a good read, and I honestly can’t wait to know more! Keep up the great work! <3

Poetic

Honestly, I'm still on the fence about this story.

However, the first chapter was so intriguing the following ones were not disappointing, so props to that!

I'm looking forward to more chapters, Hollie! <3

*This review will change once the book is over*

Peace and love,
Jo ^_^v

Secret Enchantment

As a massive fan of HP and X-Men, reading a story with their similarity will be a tough one to crack for me. With just reading the blurb, I could tell the author needs a lot of work to polish the story. To be perfectly candid, Young Adult or Teen Fiction doesn’t appeal to my liking since I feel like the protagonist complains a lot, and it’s gonna be about boys, no offence to the author. But so far, it’s alright. I have a feeling the setting is in the United Kingdom, and I noticed a few American words, Amina should fix this bit. This story seems to capture the heart of young teens out there, and you have a lot of potential. My advice is for you to re-read and look closer to the errors you might see throughout the whole story. Keep on writing! :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVED it!!!!! My god, the tears and my emotions. Oh my, all I could do was say AWWWWWW at the epilogue. This book somewhat reminded me of The Last of Us video game because of the epilogue when Sarah, Joel's daughter, died. This is so goooood, so far one of the best I have read. The only issue I found was the lack of emotions in some parts. But otherwise, a really great job!

Imagine being in HER customised skates

Will has a great way of getting his readers hooked, for my curiosity was off the charts just by reading the first chapter. Why did Andrew stop communicating with his family? And about Charlene, I feel sorry for her. As someone who sings a lot, I can’t imagine losing my voice! Charlene is a tough cookie and I love her personality; she’s a little spicy.
I knew Elizabeth was in pain, so I didn’t hate her as much as Will (perhaps) wanted me to. I believe the feeling of anger always has a root.
Unravelling the truth about the Oakshue family. What happened to them? I wish Will wrote bits of the backstories to hurt me more because the plot is good, and I'm a sucker for good drama, but I didn't feel much whilst reading the whole story. Did I turn into someone like the Ice Queen Elizabeth Oakshue? Perhaps.
About the aunt's inner conflict. Why did she become who she is now? I hoped Will wrote more about this within the chapters, not only on the last part because I'm more curious about her more than Charlene. >_<
But about Charlene! I hoped you wrote some memories through dreams, her love for her family was strong, but it wasn't strong enough to make me cry.
And I loved the epilogue, it was such a sweet ending.
The only thing I wished for were the precious memories of Charlene and Elizabeth within the chapters throughout the whole story. I felt the desperation of the characters, but as much as I wanted to cry over their situations, I couldn’t because I want to know more why they are the way they are. I hope with this suggestion, the book will be the best it could be.
This is a good narrative, I hope you'll work on it more, then I'd buy this if it's available! Well done! 😊

Who are these Shadow Men?

I like that this story was straight to the point. The MC, Eleanor, is likeable. She’s a strong protagonist, and I couldn’t stop reading it! I believe I only read this for a day.

Per chapter was a good sense of length, it was not too long or too short. The book was understandable; there was no need to whip out the dictionary. The dialogues were a good amount, I enjoyed it Dill and El's interactions very much. I couldn’t think of any info dumps as it was straight to the point. I just wished TheGreenShoes was more elaborate about what was happening so I could wince or put the book down to really digest what I just read (I, sometimes, want to torture myself with bad decisions like El). I noticed that sensitive topics were discussed, but I believe TheGreenShoes edited it out for the sake of the competition? If not, I hoped she had written or explained more of what happened because it will make me cringe moooore. Other than that it was a good read!

Since the last sentence was “To be continued” I assume, you will give more clarity on the next book, and I will read it if there’s more!

An expedition to playing with my emotions.

First of all, I'm speechless.

You've written something so beautiful, and this pit in my stomach is a good thing because this is how I feel every time I finish I wonderful book. I hate that it has to finish. 😂

I'd like to quote Jane Austen, "IF A BOOK IS WELL WRITTEN, I ALWAYS FIND IT TOO SHORT."

And to me, it certainly was. 💔

This was, by far, the most satisfying book I have read so far in Inkitt. It was such a good read, I found it hard to decide whether I should continue to read or to sleep. I chose not to sleep.

This book is the fair amount of what I am looking for in a good book. Heck, it exceeded my expectations! It has charming characters, bloody good romance, adventure and a satisfying ending. Because the ending leaned towards what's realistic.

Though there were a few technical errors scattered within, it is easy to fix. 🤗

I can't wait to read your next book because you've earned yourself a fan. I LOVE IT.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna cry. 💖

Devious

What can I say? The author took me to another level of storytelling. Every chapter was a fresh page of paradise and hell, and it kept me on edge every time. I like stories that make me think or guess what's going to happen next, and this exceeds my expectations.
This book is like the poetry of Angels and Demons, it makes me float in the darkness. IT IS THAT BRILLIANT. I can't wait to devour more of it and deep dive to its darkest part of the ocean of narratives. Can I swear? It's F*CKING amazing, I will wait for the next chapter, please don't rush it. This story is carving its way to perfection.,and if someone thinks differently, they're wrong. ;) xoxoxo

Finding love, indeed

Reading this story made me feel like I'm part of the group. I got to see (read, rather) them make choices, have fun, discover new feelings, fall in love... It's just .... If screaming can help me express how I feel about it, then, it's all I want to do. Because it was truly lovely.

I love all the characters, even though Julie gets on my nerves at times, but all in all, I loved it. 💖💖💖

This experience was truly amazing. You are amazing, dear! Keep up the great work! xoxo
