Summary

The only way I know how to cope with melancholy is by writing. I have learned if I don't speak now, I will never know what may turn out, but this one has took a wrong turn, and now I wish I have never uttered a word. ****** This is a short story in poetry freeform, so forgive me if some of the lines don't rhyme at all.

The Last Day of Matsuri

It happened on August 8, 2019.

Matsuri is a Japanese word that means Festival. I spent two years in Japan studying Nihonggo, and I wanted to share this reckless act I had done. Don't worry, it wasn't a dangerous stunt or whatever. I am just really unlucky in love.

Real names are changed, but this story is as real as my hair.
