"We all knew Fabio was as fake as his name. What a little boy. 2 pump chump. Gianna deserved so much better. I'm glad Ren knew from the start that he wanted her and I'm glad he fought to be with her. I still feel like something more should have been added tho, for example, what was the point of introducing Livia and connecting her to Ash, if nothing more significant was going to come of it? Is there another part to this story? If not please put at least an epilogue to let us know what happens. I also think Ash isn't the type to just walk away from what he wants so why did he walk away from Gianna, it's obvious he wants her. What's up with that? Too many unknowns for it to end here. "
Mafia romance. Strong female lead that does not get ruined
"The title for this book does not really fit with my experience of reading this book. The female lead character is strong and her relationship with the male lead does not ruin her, or vice versa. This story is set in the backdrop of a mafia family. There is more drama than there is onscreen violence. (There is one scene of intense violence but it is clearly marked with trigger warnings). The build to the steamy stuff is a little slow. The ending of the story also plays out quite slow - but it feels like part of that is the author setting up some other characters for their own stories in the series. "

"Really good story. I’m just curious to know who was the lady with Ash and what was going trough his mind at their last encounter. Another detail… wasn’t Ren suppose to offer Gianna a pink pearl necklace? And what about Ren’s partner and her best friend? It wasn’t working well? Without those lottle glitches, I reeeeeally appreciated the reading. Lots of niiiiiice spicy passages. Thank you for your talent!"

"I was caught early on by the dominant characters and it was a pleasant change to meet a strong female lead. I feel the author may need to do more research on Mafia crime families as there is quite a bit wrong in the story. To somebody who hasn’t researched it though, the story reads smoothly. There were decent plot twists and a wide grasp of descriptive text that I really enjoyed and overall was a great read. Thank you for sharing your talent."
