The Main Characters Stole My Heart
"This story started off incredibly strong and had me hooked right away. Zara and Zach were such fun, well-rounded characters, and getting to know them was a highlight of the book. The pacing of their relationship development was excellent — it felt natural and engaging throughout. I especially appreciated how the author highlighted their racial and class differences without making the entire story about those elements. Zara being Black and Zach being white was acknowledged in a thoughtful, authentic way, and the portrayal of their differing financial backgrounds was handled with nuance, avoiding clichés. While the plot took an unexpected turn later on that felt a bit off-track, the strength of the characters and their journey still made it an enjoyable read."

"Ughhh, Zack! Please deliver one Zack to Korea for me, fastest delivery, please. Thank you! 💕 Zara is such a very, very lucky girl. Seriously, when someone like Zack cares about you THAT deeply—not to mention, he’s smart, handsome, rich, cheeky, caring, loyal—you’d sell your kidney just to trade places with Zara. Just saying! And that Jenna girl… she must’ve left her brain somewhere, lol. 🤣 Anyway!!! Melyssa, I love, love, love the characters. Zack, Zara, Dana, Zara's best friend in the hospital (sorry, I forgot her name), Andre, and all the others—they’re all fantastic! They’re so supportive of Zara and Zack, and I’m so glad they encourage this adorable couple to just throw caution to the wind and let it all go. Zara is exceptional—she’s strong but not afraid to show what she wants. And Zack… ugh, he’s just so perfect! His banter with Zara makes my heart giddy with so many feelings! I thoroughly enjoy the plot. It’s light, flows well, and builds the tension between our ML and FL so effectively. 💕 That said—and this is totally about my personal preference, not a reflection of your amazing writing skills or story—I’m not usually a fan of insta-lust stories (hence why I rarely read erotica). It’s just a bit hard for me to believe that two people can connect that quickly, and I felt the same here. From the moment Zack and Zara see each other, they feel attraction (which is normal), but the immediate desire to tear each other’s clothes off felt a little fast for me. I guess it’s because I’m used to slow-burn stories, so it took me some time to adjust (do we call this fast burn? Lol). That said, after a while, I got used to it and I’m SO HAPPY they don’t rush anything! There’s lots of teasing, banter, and flirting, but even after several chapters, they’re still taking the time to get more comfortable with each other. That made the story feel more believable to me and allowed me to enjoy it thoroughly. 💕💕💕 I’ll definitely keep reading because I’m waiting for THAT sexy moment to happen, lol. The one-room scene was sexy enough, but I can’t wait to read more 🔥🔥 Great job, Melyssa! "

"From the moment I opened the first page, to the moment I reached La Richese, I haven't dropped the book. But I had to take my time to leave this review before I continued with the story. A medical steaming romance, with all intrigue and knowledge attached to it. I fell in love with the lead characters; both exuding passion, despite suffering disappointments. The chemistry between them is intense and it stirs a brittleness in the air as one reads. A crackling heat. I am in love with the entire message of hope and rebirth that is centred in this story. I love the writer's style. It's captivating. Pulling the reader inside the world of the characters. I mean we are in the hospital with the characters. There is a reality to the story. An intimacy. Great work Author. Now I return to enjoy the rest of the story. 🌡️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥🥳"
