Imaginative

I think the world is unique and well-drawn. .It is an imaginative concept. The only drawback was that sometimes I could not tell who was talking because of the placement of the dialogue. When I had to go back and search for that, it took me out of the story. I do commend the author on her drawing of the characters and intriguing plot.

Nice start

I like the premise of a young girl discovering a strength she did not expect to have, and it's even neater that this is a sort of post-human world. I found the writing a bit redundant in places and descriptions that could have been threaded throughout to "show" but ended up "telling." The characters are basically adults. Is this meant to be written for YA? If so, then I think the writing is on target, though it could be tightened up a little bit. Overall, nice start!
