The Invasion

The Invasion has an interesting concept and intriguing storyline. I'd like to see more dialogue and spacing between paragraphs in the following chapters sees as some of them are very long and that makes it a little hard to read at points. I enjoyed reading this WIP and am awaiting the updates on your newest chapters!

Take me to church

Take me to church fulfills everything I want in a thriller! Starting off with the plot, I found the plot intriguing and there were various occasions where I felt the chills that the characters were going through. I truly feel like the author has a true knack for creating suspense.

As for writing style, I really appreciate how much work the author put into developing each character's personality and make sure that even though the book was dark, there were a lot of relatable characters. However, I'd like to see more spacing between the paragraphs.

If you are looking for a dark, gory, and intriguing book that keeps you on the edge of your seat, I definitely recommend checking out take me to church.

Oh, and Mr. Bartleby... When is the rest of the book coming out? I can't wait to see how this develops! I'm hooked!

The death doll

I love this book and can't wait to read the next book in thee series. Being honest, with the trigger warning and some unfavorable characters at the beginning I started off this book feeling a little iffy. But the more I read, the more I understood where the author was heading with the story. There is strong character development especially with Rachelle (My favorite character) and Didi. The book is also very well written and immersive. Though there may be some triggering events I can assure you that, the pay off is way more.

I really like this book! It's such a great read and Morkei the author is very talented! Hope to see the on Galatea one day!

Wolf's Lullaby

Lena is an incredibly talented author with such a unique way of words. Her writing style is on point making sure to fully immerse readers in every scene she writes. The dialogue and banter between the characters is so entertaining and makes them super lovable. I can't wait to read the new updates and keep following this story! I definitely recommend following this author and falling in love with this story as much as I did!

Eternal wolves

I'm loving your book. I feel like every character is well developed and had great chemistry amongst each other. I loved how excited it made me feel as each chapter progressed! I can't wait for it to be finished! Great read I'd def reccomend it! P.S. Alessandro and Ares can get it any day of the week!! 😂😂😂

Die for love

I like the premise of this story. The author did an excellent job on covering the raw emotions after being kidnapped and abused. I found myself wondering why Annie did the things she did after but had to remind myself that everyone processes trauma differently which made this so much more realistic.

It's a good read but I feel like I must point out that there were a lot of grammatical mistakes! If the author polishes them up I think this book could be perfect!

Tip for the author: the most notable grammatical mistake I noticed were the tense hops, jumping from past to present (running your chapters one by one through ProWritingAid would really help and it's free!) 😁 Keep up the hard work, Emmanuel. I see a bright writing future ahead of you!)

Brown eyed Heaven

This book is incredibly well written, little to no grammatical mistakes, and I love how the author brings up black women in every description. I'm finding the book incredibly immersive and it gets you hooked from the first sentence! I absolutely reccomend this book to everyone who is tired of the norm. Kudos on your book girl! The checkmate murder

I finished the first 6 chapters and I am really enjoying where you are heading with the story. I hope you don't mind but I do have a couple recommendations ☺️ First, I love the multiple POV's I think it's great in theses types of stories and a great way to build suspense leaving us all excited to find out who the killer .

While reading your story I noticed a lot of time transitions which made it a little difficult to follow as it jumped from past tense to present.
I'd also recommend separating the characters' thoughts from your paragraphs (in italics) to increase readability and last but not least trying to convey their feelings without exactly telling them for instance when the character is getting bullied and accused of being a murderer what were her body movements (did her hear drop to her chest?/ Were her hands shaking?)

Things like adding the five senses helps us show and not tell and also increases the length/ readability of our books. Using an app/website like Pro writing aid or Grammarly really helps us find out how our chapters translate to readers (pro writing aid is the best and you can check out tutorials on YouTube) and the best part is they are super helpful even without paying for the premium subscriptions.

I see real potential in your writing don't give up and keep up the hard work! Starting out is hard trust me, I know. You should see my books first draft on Wattpad! Let's just say, I wrote it on my phone and it came out a hot mess! 😂😂😂 I'm so glad I reached out to other authors and watch a ton of booktubers like Books with Cindy / Jenna's writing tips on YouTube.
