notably excitable & leaves a desire for more
Overall I found this very easy to read because of how enjoyable it was. First-person present-tense is very difficult to write in but can reap the most rewards for connecting with the reader, and that it what you'll find here.
I feel like there could be a little more development with the plot prior to the selection ceremony, but that is just my personal opinion. I loved the writing style the most and the overall idea of the story is captivating. Punctuation and grammar were not perfect, but it's not consistent and warrants over-looking.
I enjoyed this a lot and cannot wait for the next chapter to be put up!
Overall a very interesting and highly descriptive read. Personally I like a more descriptive work because in a lot of ways I think that doing so enables the imagination. I like to be able to picture something clearly in my head and that is what you'll find here.
I have a few issues with grammar and punctuation, but that is to be expected from anyone on here so take it with a grain of salt. It doesn't leave a lot of room to lose focus, which can make it seem tiring at first but that is where I found the beauty of it! It's definitely a read that warrants a lot of attention, but comes with great reward. Not for an inexperienced reader, but for the experienced reader it can be a treasure.
Overall enjoyable, can't wait to read more!
