A delicious punch of mystery and horror shots mixed.
Not sure if I am biased towards consciousness transfer fantasies, like warging and passing of consciousness before death by the three-eyed raven of Game of Thrones, but each one story of that sub-genre have their different styles and presentation, and this one Mr. Wombly was great. It had nothing too much excessive - no scary gore needed to artificially trigger adrenaline, no excessive description of the look of Mr. Wombley except for the green eyes which served perfectly as the signal McGuffin object, and no other fat. It is a slim, healthy, delicious and enjoyable punch of mixed horror and mystery suitable for all ages and categories of reader. I appreciate it very much and wish the author the very best in her career towards the path of success.
