Moonbane is a continuation of the Vahnsinn Hill Haunting series, albeit set in the present day. If you have not read the first book, The Witching Hour, I highly recommend that you do. As the fictional universe of Nephast County, Pennsylvania is one of my own imagining and creation. The names, places, and established timeline of this fictional haunted Pennsylvanian backwoods are introduced in book 1 and are expanded upon here in this story.
