Welcome to the Town
It is a bright sunny day. I am walking on the sidewalk along the beach. I just got here and love this place already! My name is Stella. I graduated recently and live in a small compartment with my elder sister. I got a job offer in a very big company from a little town on the coastline. We are poor and this could be my chance to improve our situation. Anyways, I just landed here and checked in the hotel. I have a free afternoon so let’s explore the place a little.
My hotel was right on the seashore. I went near the sea and sat down on the sand. I looked at the waves going up and down. Suddenly I heard a voice behind me, “Hi Stella! Welcome to our town. I am Amara. I finalized your contract in the company.” I turned around and saw a young lady with a bright smile on her face. I smiled back and said “Hi Amara. It’s great to see such welcoming faces here.” She sat down beside me and said, “So is there anything I can help you with? It must be very difficult to shift to a completely new place and I want to help you as much as I can.” “Thank you and yes, there is something. I am currently living in a hotel but need to rent a house as soon as possible.” She started looking in her purse and handed me a card. “Try contacting this. My sister gave me the card for renting house and cheap price. I don’t know them but I’m sure it’ll be fine.” I thanked her and we talked for a while. Finally in the evening she said goodbye and left. I went to the hotel too. I got ready for dinner and had a delicious meal. My first day here was amazing. With that I went back to my room and slept.
