A Prison of Thought
Locked up. Chained down. Crammed inside a box of thoughts, he sits alone on the edge of his bed. Is it raining? Is it clear? Is it even night or day? He doesn’t know. He doesn’t even comprehend a world outside of his trapped mind. Though the air around him feels heavy, his head weighs down on him more than a thousand tons. Sadness, pain, anger, rage, guilt, depression, hatred are all prison guards of the cell in which his meek mind resides. To try and speak a sentence would only result in tears and self badgering. Indeed. It is his own creation; this prison of thought.
