Her Perfect Obsession

Redox P.O.V:

Everyone fell silent when I entered. They all bowed and looked at me in fear. Melisa, my secretary, greeted me.

She opened the door for me to enter the office. I still have a headache from the flight and now, here I am working. I was also gone for a few months so the work in the office piled up.

I want to see him. I want him here by my side. I want him to hug me. I miss him so badly.

But not now, I have to fix everything before he finally gets to know me. Then there was nothing to stop us both.

I sat down when the door opened. He had a big smile on his face when he saw me.

"I thought you would be in the U.S. for a long time." He went behind me and kissed me on the cheek.

I want to wipe the part of my face where he kissed. I was irritated by his face. I tried to smile when he was in front of him.

"Why? don't you want to see me?"

"Of course not, I really thought you would stay there for a few years. Because you have a lot to take care of.” He grabbed my shoulder while still behind me, and I simply removed it.

I was even more irritated that we were only inches away from each other. "In just 6 months you came back. I kept wondering who brought you back so quickly."

This asshole makes my blood boil. If I didn't need him right now, he might have been blindsided in front of me.

“James. I still have a lot to do, just say hello to uncle." I said while reading some of the documents.

"I am your fiance red, shouldn't I know that you're coming back?" he said with a mixture of annoyance.

"I forgot to inform you." I told him coldly.

It's true. He's my fiance but that's only because of the company. We only agreed to strengthen the influence of our company. That is also the reason why I had to leave the country and strengthen our company so that I could get out of this useless engagement.

“That's— He didn't finish what he was going to say when the office door opened and my secretary came out.

"Ma'am, you have a meeting in 25 minutes." I nodded before he closed the door.

"If you have nothing to say, you can leave. You heard my secretary, I still have a meeting to go to." I saw in his eyes how angry he was when he left my office. I have arranged the documents that I need before going out.

Ryan P.O.V:

I hurried to get home while holding the paper that had just arrived.

"Grandma!" I screamed breathlessly throughout the house.

Lola Cynthia slowly came down the stairs when she heard my cry.

"What is that and you're screaming."

I immediately hugged him because of joy. "Grandma, I am one of those selected for the scholarship."

My dream will come true, to study in the city and graduate. They say that I can find a job faster if I graduate in Manila.

"Really, let me see." I gave the paper I was holding to grandma.

"What a great opportunity this is for you. Finally, my grandson's dream will come true."

The smile on my face disappeared as I realized something.

"Oh why don't you seem happy?" can leave her alone?

"How about you, la?"

"Ayst, don't pay attention to me, I can handle myself."

Grandma Cynthia raised me. I was orphaned early, I'm so thankful that she embraced me even though I'm not related by blood.

"When are you leaving?"

"It's still next week, la" She nodded and looked behind me.

"Oh Maya, there you are." I looked at the door where Maya, daughter of Tina, was standing next to our house.

She was carrying fruit that I thought was freshly picked.

"Come on in." Grandma Cynthia said.

Maya gives us fruit every time they pick. Grandma always refused it at first but she persisted so we couldn't do anything.

"That's right, did you know that my grandson was accepted there in.. what is that again?"

"It's a scholarship," I answered with a laugh.

Maya's previously cheerful face was replaced by shock and sadness. Sadness for what I wonder.

"Is that so." she answered weakly. "Why? how about you?" grandma noticed the sadness in he voice.

"I didn't pass."

"Leave it and there will be more. My grandson is really lucky."

I just smiled at grandma. The sadness did not disappear from Maya's face. Maybe it's just luck to be chosen.

Redox P.O.V:

"I think the better idea is to sell our new product in lowest price to—

I turned over the documents I was holding that stated the report he made.

"You called this a report." He swallowed at the way I said it.

"Is this your solution to our problem, to lower the company's profit?" I asked all the board members.

Honestly, I can easily solve the financial problem. Even though I haven't been here for 6 months, I know who can be trusted and who can't.

I know their every move. But I must not act otherwise they will know that I am watching their every move.

"Fix your job, if you don't want to lose your job! Get out!" I shouted.

They immediately went out. Melisa came in with a phone.

"Ma'am, phone." He carefully placed the phone on the table. I calmed myself before reading the message.

A smile immediately appeared on my face when I read which university he will attend.

I can't wait to be with him.

I will find a way to be with him without them knowing. I don't want to harm him but I will go crazy if I wait a few months just to see him.

I want to make sure that no woman is hovering over him. He is mine otherwise they will feel my anger.
