The Location
Hell exists, and it’s in our universe. In a distant galaxy there is a solar system with a yellow dwarf star exactly like that of Earth’s. Around this star orbits 666 planets the same distance as Earth from the sun. These planets all have the same composition, atmosphere, and mass. The mass is the same as Earth’s and creates the same gravitational pull. Like Earth, the planets have a molten center with a hardened crust on the surface made of rock. But the crusts on these planets are thinner, which makes volcanoes and earthquakes much more common. The surfaces are covered in mountainous rocks, volcanoes and lakes and rivers of lava, there is nothing else. The atmosphere is thick, consisting of mostly carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, which simulates a burning smell.
These planets have no tilt in their axis, so they do not experience seasons. Most of the surface temperature ranges between 100 to 155 Fahrenheit (37 to 68 Celsius) in the thick atmosphere, with the areas near the lakes and rivers of lava having much higher temperatures. They have the same rotational velocity as the earth, so they experience the same 24-hour day night cycle. But even the nights are burning hot as the thick atmosphere holds in heat.
