Andy and Amy live in the small town of Adamsville with their aunt. As brother and sister they were very much alike.
After Adam and Amy awoke each day in August they liked to walk through the alley and down the avenue into the woods to collect acorns.
Adam and Amy would reach down with their arms, pick up the acorns, put them all in a bag and then add them up to see who had more acorns.
The one with the most acorns would get an award from an adult.
While in the woods in April, Andy and Amy would also see lots of ants.
They were amazed at how the ants acted but were afraid to get too close.
There were many animals in the woods and sometimes Andy and Amy would see a deer with antlers.
When it was time for a snack, Andy and Amy would each eat a big tasty apple or a juicy apricot.
While eating their snack they would look up into the air and watch for airplanes.
When they grow up, Andy wants to be an astronaut or an athlete and Amy wants to be an artist or an actress.
After eating dinner, they put on aprons and washed the dishes.
At times they get angry at each other but they always make up.
After an active day it is time for Andy and Amy to climb into their beds and fall fast asleep.
