Gabriella crept through the woods, placing her feet as carefully as she could. The dead leaves and pine straw crunched and crackled with each step, making her wince.

“You do realize it won’t have sound, just a camera, right?” Chet’s sarcastic tone come from behind her, where he was clumping along with no effort at silence.

She huffed. “FINE!” Stomping with extra vigor just to show him, well, something, she came up to the spot she had sensed electronic activity.

A small pile of leaves sat forty or so feet from the road’s edge. They had approached from behind it. Carefully she cleared the debris to reveal a small olive-green box. Chet knelt down to study it closer. “Looks like a game camera. Pretty high quality. The kind that senses motion and records until the motion ends. It should have a wireless connection to allow someone to download the video.”

Gabriella looked over his shoulder. “Pointed right at the stop sign.”

Chet followed her gaze. “It would catch any vehicle coming in or out of the road leading to the coven.”

“Are those bastards tracking us?” Her jaw clenched.

“Bet your sweetly rounded ass. I’ll also bet that luscious backside there is a matching one at the other end of the road, too.”

Gabriella thought about that. “So they could see which vehicles only go in or come out one end. Which would mean they came from the coven, so they could identify them as ours?” A seething rage started to build deep inside her. “This is how those motherfuckers found Marilyn, isn’t it?” Her fingertips started to crackle with blue arcs of electricity between her fingers.

Chet looked up at her. “Hey, now, sugar, don’t go blasting this thing while I’m right here.” He smiled to show he wasn’t worried about that. “Besides, let’s see what else we can figure out about this.” He carefully released the latches and lifted the top cover off. “Ah. A removable memory. I think I’ll just liberate that.” He wiggled it loose and put it in his pocket. “We’ll have to take a look at what it captured. Now, let’s mess this thing up for good.” Standing, he grinned. “You can fry it in a second, but it might be a good idea to not tip off all your talents. So I’ll provide some cover for electrical damage.” He unzipped his jeans and pulled out his large cock.
