Snow
I sat there in the silence outside in the snow. Feeling each one land on my face with gentle delicacy, each with a different shape. So many differences, yet all together.
Falling together.
I could feel the words sink in as I slowly sank into the ground of whiteness, my body growing numb because of the cold, the pain melting away just like the heat.
No longer sensing anything else, I feel myself plunge deeper into the unknown, until there is nothing left.
Until there could be nothing left.
My mind gone blank,
My heart slows to a stop,
My face tilted into a smile,
Then everything...
Turns into nothing at all.
