Grandparents
The world is cruel.
The people only do deeds that benefit themselves.
Not anyone else.
There are three different types of groups of people.
At the top, is the wealthy.
In the middle is the government.
At the bottom are the mediocre and poor.
I’m at the bottom.
With a nice little house.
In the middle of nowhere.
All alone.
That’s it.
I educate people online about current news.
People adore me.
I’ve tried getting into law.
But, with a background like mine, I wasn’t accepted into any college.
When I was a little child.
I lived with my grandparents.
They were the kindest people to ever exist in my opinion.
At least then I thought that.
It wasn’t until June 6, that I realized...nothing would be the same.
That day, some people in suits showed up on our front porch.
They took away my grandparents.
I was alone starting then.
The men in suits just left me alone there.
A seven-year-old girl alone in a small house with little food and no money.
In. The. Middle. Of. Nowhere.
I almost starved to death.
But thanks to my grandfather’s training.
I knew how to survive on my own.
He was a smart man.
I later found out that my grandparents were murderers.
That they killed my parents.
Their own children.
That they were training me to kill.
Then they tried to arrest me.
They said I also killed people.
Funny.
I ran away.
Into my grandfather’s shed.
Where I often go.
I hid in there for hours.
I soon got hungry.
So, I ate.
My grandfather kept the best food in his shed to keep it cold.
I grabbed his favorite butcher knife.
And cut myself some food.
I thanked my meal like I was taught to.
Because, it’s impolite to not thank your cashier when they serve you.
As my grandparents said.
