All Hallows Eve
Normani has been a Vampire for centuries. She loves it. She loves the thrilling life she lives. The only problem is that she gets lonely sometimes. Of course, she has her best friend Megan, but she wants to find love again.
The last time she loved someone was long over a century ago. Her first and only love, Dinah Jane Hansen, died of natural causes. Despite being older than the girl, Normani pretended to be her lover's sugar baby during her later years of life. It was not her proudest moment. When Dinah got dementia, she became her caregiver. It broke Normani to see the love of her life lose who she was. It eventually became too much for Normani, so she sent her to a nursing home. She made sure Dinah had the best. She visited her every single day until Dinah died one month later at the age of ninety-six.
She thinks it's time to put herself out there and she has one particular girl in sight. A gorgeous, brown eyed woman named Ally. Although she has never spoken a word to the girl and knows absolutely nothing about her, she can feel that the woman is the one.
They both ended up at the same Halloween party tonight. Normani took that as a sign. She was dressed as a vampire, like always, while Ally was dressed as a witch. She had the long, pointy hat and a God awful, black wig to accompany it.
Some girl has been dancing on Ally for the past three songs, and she seemed to be enjoying the girl's mediocre dance moves. Normani wasn't. She didn't like how close the girl was to her possible future wife. Eventhough she was jealous, she couldn't be mad at Ally. They haven't formally met each other yet. A fact that was soon about to change. Normani looked at megan, who had a plastic jack-o-lantern pumpkin on her head with a mischievous grin. Her red eyes adding a mysterious glow to the jack-o-lantern. "Watch me go squash this shit." Normani flipped her hair. She hopped up from her chair and sauntered onto the dance floor. Her eyes were focused only on the short witch.
*what are we waiting for starts playing.*
Ally was having a good time dancing with her best friend Lauren. She had an exam coming up and she had to make sure her spells were perfect. She was going to be the future leader of her coven one day which meant she is held at a higher standard. She was glad Lauren pulled her away from her spell books and made her come to this party on Hallows eve. The music was good. The people were dancing. Moreover, there was an unexplainable force in the air. It was ominous but she liked it. Perfect vibes for a Halloween party. She couldn't pinpoint where, who, or what the mysterious force was, but she could feel it getting stronger as it got closer.
Lauren was dressed as a pirate. She did have a fake parrot with her, but it got lost somewhere along the way. About thirty minutes ago, Ally met eyes with a stunning vampire whose fangs looked a little too real to be apart of a costume. Unfortunately, she lost her somewhere in the crowd. She went back to dancing with Lauren who was in her own little world at this point. The liquor was taking over. Ally smiled at the pirate who was now doing the funky chicken. She wanted so badly to record her friend, but she knew sober Lauren would not be happy. Instead she just committed it to memory.
Normani gently placed her hand on Ally's waist ignoring the sparks as she walked in front of her. Ally was surprised by this new feeling and the source of it. It was a good surprise; she liked it. Maybe even loved it. All she knew was that she definitely wanted more of it. The feeling disappeared once Normani took her hand away. Ally didn't like that, and Normani could sense it. She turned around grinding her ass against Ally. She started off in slow circles testing the waters with the witch. Ally grabbed Normani's waist as she began grind into Normani. The taller of the two began twerking on the shorter girl behind her. She turned around coming face to face with the woman who was now blushing.
Ally used Normani's hips for support as she dipped letting her hands trail down Normani's thighs. Normani hooked her finger underneath Ally's chin guiding her to stand up. Ally's arms found their way around Normani's neck. Normani smirked as she bent down to kiss Ally, stopping before there lips touched.
In one smooth motion, Normani took Ally's hat and wig off revealing the long, beautiful, brown locks that were being held captive under that atrocious wig. Ally immediately ran her fingers through her hair. Normani threw the wig deeper into the crowd before placing the hat on top of her own head. Normani spun Ally around, holding the girl in her arms. The vampire's front was against Ally's back. Her lips brushed against Ally's ear. She liked how the shorter girl relaxed into her touch immediately. The girl brought a sense of warmth and security. Normani has never felt like this before. Not even with Dinah.
"I'm sorry, Love. That wig was terrible. What do you think of the song?" Normani asked catching the other woman off guard.
"Huh?" Ally asked continuing to sway along to the music with the vampire. Her eyes closed as she enjoyed this feeling.
"The song. It's called Wild Side sung by me." Normani smiled. She was quite proud of her work. She spent many hours in the studio making sure it was perfect.
Ally didn't know there was music playing. She was completely entranced by the taller woman. "I like it. I'll probably like it better if I didn't have such a sexy distraction." Ally smirked.
Normani giggled at the shorter woman's response. "Well don't watch the music video. It filled with nothing but sexy distractions."
Ally opened her eyes and raised an eyebrow. "Sexier than the performance you just gave me?"
"Yep, I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed." Normani intertwined their fingers.
"The only way I will be disappointed is if you don't kiss me by the end of the night." Ally was feeling bold, and it wasn't the liquor talking.
"Well we can't have that. I can't disappoint my future girlfriend our first time meeting. I'll do anything to avoid that." Normani brushed Ally's hair to the side placing a chaste kiss on Ally's neck.
Normani was glad that she ate before coming here. The brunette did smell quite delicious and from being so close she could smell the magic running through her veins. She was definitely a witch in real life. Normani giggled at the satire. A witch and a vampire go to a Halloween party dressed as themselves. That's shit you only read in books written by lazy authors.
Antyways, I digressed. 💅
The chemistry between the two women was undeniable. Normani had no intentions to feel or fill the witch up tonight, but at this rate, that's exactly how this night would end.
"It's going to take more than that to please me, Ms. Vampire." Ally booped Normani's nose with her finger.
Normani scrunched up her nose making Ally laugh."I'm just warming up, you witch. My name is Normani by the way. Yours?"
"I'm Allyson, but most people call me Ally. It is very nice to meet you."
"The pleasure is all mine, Allyson." Her fangs dropped lower. Every fiber of her being was telling her to imprint on the young witch. She would have if her self control wasn't so strong.
"Well Normani, let's get to know each other better at my place tonight." Ally smiled up at Normani. She had no idea why she was being so forward with the woman. She was exuding fuckboy energy, and that's not what she wanted. However, that's what her body needed. Normani's body radiated sex appeal, and Ally's body seemed to purr in response.
Normani knew she shouldn't, but she really wanted to. "I would like that very much, Allyson. What about your friend?"
Ally forgot all about Lauren who was now dancing with a person dressed as a sexy peach. Lauren said that she would find a way home. She had enough money for an Uber. Ally reluctantly agreed. She didn't like the idea of leaving Lauren alone.
Normani knew Megan was good. She is the strongest vampire she knows. She texted her friend to let her know that she was leaving with Ally. Megan told her friend to have fun and be safe as she continued twerking on a fine firefighter that she met at the bar. She agreed to watch out and make sure Lauren got home safely.
Normani and Ally walked out the party holding each other's hands. Normani unlocked her audi and opened the door for the shorter girl before getting in herself. She turned the car on; she made sure Ally was buckled up before pulling out of the lot. Ally placed her hand on Normani's thigh while she continued their conversation stopping only to give Normani a direction.
"Please tell me those fangs are real and I'm not letting a human into my house." Ally couldn't bare the idea of her possibly being mated to a mortal. Those are the worse. The human either leaves or die in an unnecessarily tragic accident. They never make it to die of natural causes or a disease in the later stages of life.
"They are real. I am a Vampire." She stated plainly that wasn't going to get Ally to believe her, so she let herself shift. Her eye color went from brown to yellow and her fangs lowered.
Ally gasped. She couldn't believe it. "You're from the Kordei strand." Ally was glad that she didn't get one of those ruthless killers. Those are the ones you have to be careful of. The ones with red eyes.
"Now that you know my secret. Are you really a witch?" Normani already knew the answer.
"Yep. My mom is the leader of the Hernandez Coven. We practice white magic." She stated. She was proud of her coven. They weren't the most powerful but they were definitely family.
Normani pulled into Ally's garage. She parked beside a BMW. It was a black, 2000 BMW 323Ci with red leather seats. Normani loves cars. She used to be a mechanic at one point in her long life. "That's your car?" She asked Ally clearly doing a terrible job at hiding that she is a motorhead.
Ally nodded. She smiled at the woman who looked like a child walking into a candy store. She still had Ally's witch hat on which made her look adorable. The top was bent by the roof of Normani's car. Ally didn't share the same enthusiasm for cars that Normani did. "You want to drive it?"
"Are you serious? Of course, I do." Normani giggled.
Ally pulled out her keys. Normani's mouth popped open as she watched the keys fall into her hand. "Thank you!" She kissed the girl's cheek. Normani zoomed out of the car unable to hide her excitement. She opened the passenger door before Ally could unbuckle her seat belt. She didn't wait for Ally as she get out of the car and opened the passenger side of Ally's car. The witch was taking her sweet, precious time. Normani picked her up and put her over her shoulder carrying her to the car.
"I know how to use my own two feet." Ally giggled at the situation.
"Yes, your two very slow feet. Are you hungry?" She said placing Ally on the ground infront of her door.
Ally climbed in. "Yeah. I could eat. Are you hungry?"
Normanishook her head no. "I ate before I went to the party. There's a waffle house down the road. Is that okay with you?"
Ally blushed. "Girl, waffle house is always okay with me." Truth be told, waffle house was Ally's favorite restaurant.
Normani was buckling her seatbelt. "Waffle house it is" Normani turned the key in the ignition. If she was a human, she would be having heart palpitations right now. She shifted into reverse and slowly backed out of the driveway. She was so happy that she could combust. "I hope you have no where to be tomorrow because I'm going to have replace your tires." She took off like a bat out of hell.
Ally screamed as Normani hit a turn too fast. Ally was regretting her decision. She was considering rolling out the car doing God's work for Normani. The sound of Normani cackling was only feeding into her fears. She quickly mumbled a protection spell because that was her only option.
Normani pulled into the parking lot a trail of fire behind her and the smell of burning rubber filled the air. Normani was on a high. The five minute drive was way too short for her. She looked at Ally who was already out of the car, running towards the restaurant.
They sat at a booth waiting for their food to finish cooking. "So tell me short witch. What is one of your biggest fears?"
"You and your terrible driving. I liked to died riding around here with you." Ally giggled
"You what?" Normani smirked. She didn't know that she was talking to a senior citizen.
"I almost died." Ally corrected herself.
"Oh I'm sorry. I won't scare you like that again." Normani grabbed Ally's hand.
"Good."
"So what's your story, Love?" Normani let go of Ally's hand and sat up straighter.
Ally shrugged her shoulders. "You're going to have to be more specific."
Of course. What kind of questionwas that. It's been a while since Normani has been in the dating scene. She nodded. "What do you do for a living?"
"Well. I work at a bakery, and I am learning about green magic." Ally leaned back in her booth.
"You like baking, huh? I'm going to have to stop by this bakery one day to try your pastries."
Ally nodded at that idea. "How about I make you some chocolate chip cookies? Cookies are my specialty."
"Sounds fine to me. I love cookies. I can't wait to taste yours." Normani smirked at Ally who was now blushing. "So do you have any siblings?" She moved the conversation along.
Ally clearedher throat. "Yeah. I have an older brother. His name is Brandon."
"Is he going to take over the coven? Or will it be you?"
Ally shook her head no. "I am. He didn't like being supernatural, so he left." She strugged.
The food arrived and Ally was grateful. She was starving and needed to refuel after casting that spell. Ally ordered double her usual meal. She said that she would pay but Normani refused to let her. Normani didn't mind. She needed Ally at full strength for what she had planned for tomorrow.
After dinner, Normani walked Ally to her door. It was probably around three a.m. and Ally was tired. "Should I invite you in?"
"Tonight? No. Tomorrow? definitely." Normani said casually leaning against the wall.
"Around what time tomorrow?" Ally bit her lip.
Normani took Ally's phone and put her contact information into the witch's phone. "Here is my number, Love. Just call me whenever you are ready for company. I actually live two streets over."
"I don't know if I should. I am kinda disappointed that you let the night end without kissing me." Ally took her hat from Normani.
"Incorrect. The sun isn't out yet. Also I've kissed you here and here. But maybe I should have kissed you here." Cupping Ally's face, she brushed her nose against the shorter woman's before closing her eyes. Their lips touched and for the first time in her long life Normani felt fireworks as she kissed the smaller woman. The kiss was slow and electrifying. The sparks traveled throughout her body. Every inch of her wanted more. She needed more.
