Chapter 1

"One and two and three and spin. Left Right and up. " Amy followed the others as they all went in sync with the instrctor.

She looked at the wall clock when they had to lean back. Two more minutes and the week was over. Today was a special day and she could not wait to get home.

The instructors alarm rang just in time and the fifteen girls dropped their legs.

"Okay that's all for today starting Monday we will start off from where we have left. " By the time the instructor finished talking most of the girls had quickly draped something over their leotards and picked their bags without bothering to change their shoes.

Amyson pulled the white dress like shirt over her head and reliesed her hair from the bun letting it fall in red waves inches shy from her butt. She was among the few who actually bothered to remove their ballet flats as she opted for white sneakers.

As she was rummaging through her bag, a motorcycle stopped before her and the rider removed his helmet grinning at her.

"Hey. Missed me?"

"You wish Jack. The only thing I'm missing is food in my stomach. "

" Ouch ,"Jack feigned hurt ," you would pick food over your brother?"

Atlast Amy found what she was looking for; a chocolate bar," anytime Jack," she went on to peel the paper and took a bite.

"Want some?" She asked with a smile.

Jack grabbed the chocolate and stuffed it in his mouth including the paper.

"Hey!"

"I thought you wanted me to have some."

" It was rhetorical. "

Amy took the offered extra helmet and off they went coming to a halt six meters away at a blue and white gate.

"Mom said her plane lands at nine we have to be at the airport by eight thirty. "

" Okay. "Amy got off and then slapped him on the back, " that is revenge for my chocolate," she shouted as she ran up the front stairs.

Three seconds after she went in to the house and banged the door shut, a piercing scream filled the compound. Sharon who was in the kitchen almost dropped the hot cup she was holding.

After carefully placing it on the island she went out in hurry.

"What is going on here?"

Two giggling forms ran past her towards the kitchen and she hurriedly caught them.

"What have you done now?" She asked as she dragged them towards Amy who sat at the door looking shocked and a black and white husky licking her face.

"Oh my God! Amy are you okay?"

Sharon let go of the two mischieves who had already started to analyze the situation keenly only to realize they were in deep trouble. Sharon helped Amy up and started wipping the slimy red substance on her face and hair.

Jack ran in through the back door holding a crowbar.

"I heard someone scream. What is going on?"

Jack looked around and saw Amy's state then he burst out in laughter to the point of tearing up.

"Jack could you please stop laughing at your sister and bring her a towel. "

Jack went for the towel still laughing while the two seven yearbbolde were wondering if it was too late to ran away.

"Bad dog Rex," Rex whined and walked away looking hurt," you two get a moper and clean this up. It's time out for you. Apologize before you go. "

" Sorry Amy. "

" I'm sorry. "

Amy snatched the offered paper towels from Jack and stormed past them going upstairs.

"You two can forget about my promise. " She told the two.

" But you had promised. " Milly said.

"And I said forget it, "Amy screamed and a door was banged shut almost shaking the whole house.

"You deserve it," Sharon stepped on the nearby footstool and untied the rope holding up the tiled bucket. It still had remains of whatever the mixture was.

The Crow family was one of a kind. The family name was from her mother's side because she wanted everyone to feel welcome.

Sandra. M. Crow was a business woman who had no time and her only goal was to make money no time to settle. So as to make her mother die in peace she got married under contract and was not planning to get a child.

Jackson happened a year into the fake marriage and the contract ended. Not knowing what to do with the child Sandra turned to her sister who advised her to keep the child.

Sharon Crow became the child's only companion as Sandra went straight back to money making. Sharon loved the kid so much that it was really hard trying to explain to him that she was not his mother when he called her mommy. She had to sit her sister down and really talk to her without any luck.

Sasha came to her senses when Jack was two and got so sick he was in the intensive Care unit for a month holding on to a small thread of life. Those were dark memories she would not want to revisit.

When Jack was ten, Sasha came home unannounced from a business trip that should have lasted two weeks holding a three month old baby. Sharon was shocked.

"Sasha?" Sharon was still confused as her sister zoomed past her holding her suitcase in one hand and a crying bundle in another.

"It's a long story siz...." Sasha turned to her while shushing the baby"...why are you all dressed up?"

"I was going on a date. "

" What about Jack?"

" Took him to Sam's place for the night! Whose baby is that? Because I'm sure you were gone for three days not a year. "

" Like I told you long story. "A car hooted outside the house. " Your date is here call Sam's mom for me before you go. "

Sasha turned towards the stairs as Sharon called Sam's mom. She never got to know where the baby came from until a month later when they had to suddenly move town.
