Intro
In an untold future, a mysterious time-space convergence has caused the Solar System to collide with a white dwarf star called Azet. This has created a binary star system, Azet-Sol, where the familiar Solar colonies orbit in conjunction with alien worlds home to a myriad of super-sentient species. As spacefaring technology evolved, humans have learned to coexist with the alien peoples of the Azet worlds, culminating in a unified order, the Azet-Sol Concord. But while many have maintained peace between the two “Halves” of the Binary for centuries, others wish to disrupt it.
An era of mistrust has grown between the humans and the Lan, the dominant species of the Azet Half commonly known as the Grays. Rumors of Gray imperialism reviving in the Azet worlds coincide with the formation of a militant faction, the Nation of Solar States. While peace and prosperity are still upheld throughout Azet-Sol, chances are it will not last long.
Then there are those who profit from the tension in the Binary. Rogue gangs of outlaws run rampant beneath the gaze of the Concord and the planetary forces. Smugglers, pirates, bounty hunters, assassins, miscreants of all kinds seek their fortune from others’ misfortune. But none have matched the notoriety of the Gray Comet. An enigmatic Gray known only in the underworld as Lee Morrison, he has staked his claim through smuggling high-priced cargo, from black market weapons to priceless treasures, posing a threat to the system-wide economy.
He has become the most wanted outlaw in the Binary, leaving a wake of destruction as both law enforcement and rival gangs attempt to hunt him down. To this day, humans and aliens alike dread to face the Gray Comet. But as more enemies amass against him, Lee Morrison’s reputation could be at risk and prove more crucial to the fate of the system than he knows.
