A Test of Friendship
"To be honest, I was weary of this book at first but immediately fell in love with the first page. This stunning novel is detailed, heart rending and an emotion ride that never slows down or seems force. The writer, a brilliant savant of our age, manages to capture 1st person narrative while weaving a tale that is refreshing yet breathes life into this classic tale of friendship to the occasional reader. While editing and grammar seems to be prevalent, it is overall not bad and the only problem I had was keeping up with the narrative being switched. Otherwise, good job."
A lovely trip down a memory lane.
"Heartfelt, and touching. This delightful story follows a trio of friends as they grow up, having started as childhood friends. Each character has a clear personality, and I am very much attached to them all. The cover art is beautiful, and original - I'm hoping we will soon understand why there is a duo and not a trio though - but, I have a feeling that it's going to make me emotional!! I love the structure of the story, the way we take a trip down memory lane. I will follow this one as it gets updated, despite it not being my usual genre. I am //invested//. I have two issues; 1) Many, many long sentences - our author loves a comma (I do too, in all fairness, and it is a conscious effort to divide up my sentences). HOWEVER, the writing is beautiful, and the author has a strong voice, so I found that while my readability was slightly impacted, I didn't care too much as I was enjoying the flow of the story. This leads nicely to issue number two... 2) I need more!!!! I see the author is taking a break, and I really want to respect this - I need them sometimes too. I also noticed our author is a uni student, and wish them the best of luck with their studies. However, I also want to demand they continue writing lol. I recommend this book!! "

"It’s a lovely read so far! Certainly worth the wait for updates and I hope the author wouldn’t stop. Well done! ♥️"
A Heartwarming Narrative
"There were minor grammatical errors, but even so, this story contains an incredible amount of storytelling. The author adopted a good strategy by beginning the opening scene in the present, where there is an exciting, realistic scenario that is cohesive to an event relevant to a personal internal conflict within a character, bringing both the main protagonists and supporting characters together and fleshing them out for the reader. The internal and external dialogue used gives the readers a deeper understanding of the character's personality and motivations, which helps move the story forward. Furthermore, the scenes in the book have a solid rhythm, structure, and resonance, allowing the readers to be dragged deeper and deeper into the story. A fluid profusion of descriptions is employed, which the author has effectively used to cause the reader to hear, feel, taste, and become intimately involved with the sights and sensations that are being portrayed."
A ray of sunshine- pun intended.
"Who doesn’t like a good tale from grandma? The story is about a frail Diana reminiscing about an old friend and her youth, so from the onset I wanted to find out what led to their strained relationship. So far as I’ve read, the author has managed to capture old age, childhood innocence and the transition to adolescence in such a beautiful way. I liked the overall style of writing, although at times I got lost in some of the longer sentences; I found there was excessive comma usage. Maybe consider breaking some of them into shorter sentences and/or combining some. Otherwise, I’m really enjoying the story so far and thank you for directing me to it. I can’t wait to learn more about the three friends. Great job so far! "

"Good start. It keep you engaged"

"Really good start ! Already loved the chemistry between the three friends. I found it really cute ! Loved it !! Perhaps would have preferred something that differentiates the grandmother's past and the present cos both are written in first person narrative so it can get a bit confusing but overall Great job ! "
Interesting Confusion
"At the beginning I commented I was confused I still am. The writing is great and the wording itself as well. I am just confused by the plot. I cannot tell what is actually going on. I am constantly confused. Is it the grandmother telling her story? Or is the grandchild retelling her grandmother telling the story. Or is it a diary she reads. I cannot discern between each getting confused in the progress of reading it. While I am curious about how the story continues. And actually understand what happens which part is in which time who knows whom and who actually is this artist and who was she. It's very hard to do so currently. It would be nice to see the story grow from what it is now in the future. "
