Chapter 1
Thanks to my dear friend who made my OC come to life; she produced the perfect image of Siri:
---Jungkook’s POV---
“So how’d it go on your date with Hana last night?” One of my best friends, Jimin, asked me as we were on our way to the arcade within the mall.
I shrugged, “Was fine.”
"That’s it? No sexy time goss?” My other best friend, Taehyung asked me.
“We had dinner at the Pizza Palace where she did all the talking– as usual. And then we had sex in her car. Nothing crazy. That’s about it.”
If I’m honest, I don’t really enjoy being with Hana. She’s just a rebound and she knows it. She offered to help me get over my ex, Serena/Siri. I agreed since she was the one who told me about Siri cheating and was there for me when it all turned to shit.
Siri broke my fucking heart. Almost two years together and she cheated on me. It took me a while to realise she was even cheating. A month of her giving me lame excuses and going to visit some guy after school, and then I finally caught her kissing him a few days before our 2 year anniversary. I couldn’t believe it. Even Taehyung and Jimin saw her do it because they came with me to check out if it was true.
I loved Siri. She was my first for everything, love especially. We had plans to go to the same university and flat together after highschool. But I guess she got bored and decided to cheat on me instead of just letting me down easy.
That was 2 months ago and I’m still hurt and angry whenever I see her. She doesn’t know I caught her kissing some other guy. I never confronted her about it. I was too upset and angry. I blocked her number straight away instead and avoided her from that day onwards. The weekend of our supposed anniversary, I went to a party instead of meeting Siri at our usual hangout spot. She found out where I was and caught me hooking up with Hana instead. I stared right at Siri when I had my tongue down Hana’s throat, giving Siri a taste of her own medicine.
As soon as she saw us, Siri turned and ran out of the party. I could’ve sworn I saw hurt and disappointment in her eyes before she ran out and for that moment, I thought I was doing the wrong thing by hooking up with Hana. But then the image of Siri kissing some other guy kept springing into my mind that I didn’t care if she was hurt. She hurt me first.
There was one time Siri did come up to me and asked me ”Why?” My only reply to her was, ”You know what you did. You hurt me first" and then I gave her a glare and walked away.
“So are you and Hana like… a thing now?” Jimin asked me. “Since you’re going on dates and shit…”
“I haven’t asked her to be my girlfriend. We’re just fuckbuddies. We go out on dates because she wants me to take her out on them. I don’t exactly enjoy them. I just go for the sex afterwards.”
“Everyone at school thinks you two are a thing now though?” Tae said.
“Good. Maybe that’ll show Siri what she lost,” I replied with bitterness.
I mainly just go with the flow with whatever Hana does with me at school to make Siri jealous. I don’t think I could actually be in a relationship again after what Siri did. Trust issues and all...
I think it’s best that I go to university as a single guy anyway. A lot more girls to see and have fun with. School is almost over anyway in a few months so no point getting into a relationship with anyone now. Siri and I planned to go to the same university so we could have kept our relationship going but now that we’re over, I’ll just enjoy the single life for now.
Just then, someone bumped into my left side. When I saw who it was and who she was with, anger immediately filled me up. It was Siri with the guy she cheated on me with.
“Watch where you’re going!” I growled at her and she flinched.
“Sorry… I didn’t see where I was going…”
“Yeah, no shit.”
“Hey! No need to talk to her like that.” The guy she was with said defensively as he put his arm around her shoulders and brought her into his side protectively.
I gotta admit, Siri’s got good taste. The guy she’s with now is handsome as fuck. Tall with the broadest shoulders I’ve ever seen, plump lips and soft eyes. Obviously an older college guy. The fact she practically upgraded to someone more handsome and smart made me even more angry and jealous.
“It’s ok, Jinnie-Oppa. It was my fault anyway...” She looked into my eyes with sadness but I could only continue glaring at her and the guy she was with.
She calls him ‘Oppa’, huh? I know Siri doesn’t have any siblings so it must be the nickname she gives him rather than ‘jagi’ or ‘baby’. Gross. I hate being called Oppa. Hana calls me that sometimes during sex and it makes me cringe.
I looked up at the store Siri and her ‘new man’ came out of. A jewellery store. How typical. I looked down to see she was in fact holding a small bag from the shop. Obviously the Jin guy bought her something from there.
“Come on, Siri. Let’s go.” The Jin guy held Siri closer to him and glared at me. Siri only nodded as she swallowed thickly and looked away from me.
As they started walking away, I watched the Jin guy kiss her forehead and then Siri leaned her head against his chest as they walked together looking like a loved up couple.
“You ok? I know that it couldn’t have been easy to see her with that guy,” Jimin asked with concern.
“Whatever. She’s obviously happy with that girlfriend-stealing asshole,” I muttered angrily and stomped my way out of the mall quickly as I wasn’t keen on playing games anymore. Jimin and Tae ran out after me but were a little bit behind since they’re a little slower than me.
I took out my phone and looked up Hana’s phone number. “You keen to hook up tonight?” I texted her.
Not even 30 seconds and she replied, “Always keen to hook up with you. What time should I come over? Xx”
As I was walking and about to text her back the time, I heard Taehyung’s voice shout out to me.
“KOOK! LOOK OUT!”
And just like that, I felt a heavy forceful and painful push on my right side and then I saw black.
