Chapter 1
Jack lived with his dad and his 2 cats by the sea.
Last summer, Jack rescued a baby whale after a story washed it ashore. He and his dad helped it get back to sea, winter was slowly coming and Jacks's dad wanted to go on a trip so he asked Jack if he wanted to come Jack said no because he was too cold and he would get sick.
Jack let his dad go because had was strong and Jack knew that he loved going on trips so he let him and he would be there only for a little bit
But when darkness covered the night that night and his dad still wasn't back home Jack began to worry
He waited and waited and then a while later he thought he saw something out the window he thought it had to be his dad
But first, he fed his 2 cats and then jolted towards the door and took his flashlight with him then went outside Jack pulls his most with him to the edge where the water was but the sea was frozen hard
He said to himself "I must be careful!" while stepping onto the thick hard ice the further he went the harder the snow crashed down
Soon everything looked the same And then Jack found out HE was lost oh no But then he lifted his head and saw a grey shape next to a lamp he started following it it was his dad's boat! Glued into the ice Jack quickly jolted Aboard
"DAD!?" Jack shouted by there was no response the boat was empty He didn't know what to do As he was curling up into his jacket he imagined the Ses beneath him moving around he began to feel petrified
But then he heard a bumping sound coming from the boat he looked out And saw the Whale he saved last summer! The whole family came to help him
The whales pushed the boat somewhere as the ice broke apart somehow they knew where to go when the whales were finished Jack came out and then he saw his "DAD!" "WHAT are you doing here?" as he hugged him "I just had to find you Dad!" he said
As winter left and spring came the ice disappeard And they lived a happy ending
