This is an alternate version of Change of Heart. Read that before this one. Same characters. Same everything. Not a sequel or prequel. Just a different version of the other story. Same disclaimer goes for this one. Updates may be slow at times. This story originally had 50 chapters. I may combine most chapters making them longer and the story shorter. Don’t worry about the character pics as they are the same from Change of Heart. Some parts may be the same and some may be different.

Adam sat there in the law office he owned with his brother Evan an his best friend Kevin.
“Hey Adam,” Kevin said.
“Hey Kev,” Adam said.
“I’m about to head off to my court case, Evan should be back from his soon,” Kevin said.
“Okay,” Adam said.
“You okay man?” Kevin asked.
“Just thinking about stuff,” Adam said.
“Penny for your thoughts?” Kevin asked.
“Ha you could not afford it,” Adam said.
“Okay, close up when you guys are done, I’ll be heading home after court,” Kevin said.
“Okay Kev,” Adam said. Kevin left and Adam sat there. While Kevin was proud to be out and happy after coming out at 15, Adam was straight but hasn’t been on a date in years. He did have a girlfriend in high school and they lost their virginity to each other but they broke up after high school. She went on and got married after college and he had attended their wedding and he was friends with both of them. He heard from the guy she had married that they divorced and she remarried. Adam and Kevin talked about their first times and Kevin told him that he lost his virginity to a girl in college. She went on to marry her girlfriend after college and they were looking into adoption.

“Let’s head home bro, I need time to think,” Adam said. They closed up after everyone left and went home. Adam walked into his apartment and got something to eat and went and took a shower and got dressed in sweats. He went and sat down on the couch and watched a baseball game. He sat there in deep thought about everything.

“Hey Mom, Dad,” Adam said.

“My boy,” Abigail said. She hugged him. His father patted him on the back as he came in. Adam closed the door.
“What brings you guys by?” Adam asked.
“Well first we are having a family dinner tomorrow and Kevin will be there with his parents, sister, and her husband, we have some news to share with everyone,” Mitch said.
“We talked to Evan and he said something was bothering you so we came over to see if you would talk to us about it,” Abigail said.
“You know your mom,” Mitch said.
“I know,” Adam said. He sat down. They sat down. He muted the TV.
“Honey, what’s bothering you?” Abigail asked.
“I think I’m gay,” Adam said.
“Okay?” Mitch asked.
“I know you have nothing against it because of Kevin and that you treat him like a son,” Adam said.
“Yes we do and we love you no matter what honey,” Abigail said.
“You are our son, our first born, we can get grandkids from Evan and Lacey, and if you find that someone and you get married and want kids, whether it’s by adoption or surrogate, we will love that child or children,” Mitch said.
“We want you to be happy,” Abigail said.
“I think I developed feelings for Kevin,” Adam said.
“Did you tell him?” Abigail asked.
“No, I told Evan after Kevin had left for his court case,” Adam said.
“Son, maybe you should talk to Kevin,” Mitch said.
“Tell him your feelings,” Abigail said.
“He might feel the same,” Mitch said.
“You won’t know until you do,” Abigail said.
“I just don’t want to lose the friendship,” Adam said.
“You have been friends too long for that to happen,” Mitch said.
“I know, Evan said that too,” Adam said.
“Don’t hide your feelings honey,” Abigail said. Adam nodded. They hugged him before heading out. Adam sat there and got his phone and sent a text to Kevin.
“Can we talk tomorrow?” Adam texted.
“We talk every day so what’s different about tomorrow?” Kevin texted.
“It just is important and don’t want any interruptions by anyone,” Adam texted.
“Come to my office when you get in,” Kevin texted.
“Okay,” Adam texted. He turned off the TV and went to bed.
The next day....
Adam walked into the firm and took a deep breath and after putting his stuff in his office, he went to Kevin’s. He knocked and went in.
“What’s up?” Kevin asked.
“Well I have come to the conclusion that I’m gay, no female turns me on anymore,” Adam said.
“Really?” Kevin asked.
“Yeah, and lately I’ve had been feeling different around a guy and I think it’s become I like him,” Adam said. He saw something on Kevin’s face before he smiled.
