Prologue

He came towards me, held my hand and took me to the mandap. He made me sit there and he sat beside me. He then asked the priest to start the mantras. I looked at him shocked. How can he do this when he is already engaged to someone. I was about to stand up but he held my hand.

" Let go " I said but he didn't leave my hand. I struggled but he just held my hand tightly and made me sit next to him.

"What are you doing? Leave my hand" I said to which he didn't reply.

" Stop it Veer. Do you even know what are you doing"

"Stop it Veer what's wrong with you Veer??? Leave me." I said struggling to get out of his grip.

He then made me stand up for saptapadi when I didn't move with him he took me in his arms and completed the saat peheras.

The priest told us to exchange the garlands when I refused he made me hold the garland forcefully and made me wear it to him.

" Veer why are you doing this???" I asked as tears made their way from my eyes. He looked at me his face softened for a second but soon went back to his cold and look.

The priest asked him to tie the mangalsutra to which I looked at Veer in horror as he took the mangalsutra.

" Veer how can you do this to Taniya. Think of her Veer stop please."

I took this as my chance to escape from his grip but he pulled me on his lap. I looked at him shocked at his act and tied it the mangalsutra forcefully.

He then filled my partition with vermilion and I closed my eyes as if it fell on my nose a little. Why did you do this Veer you are the only person I trust after that incident. Why???
