Way out in the country of Japan, there lives a man named Charles Grady. He lives alone with a pet rat named Splinter. Grady gets a job offer in a hotel as a caregiver in Maine, Grady accepts and quickly told the man he'd be there in three days for the interview and only had a pet rat that would accompany him on the trip. Grady took the earliest flight to Maine to meet with the owner of the hotel.
Once at the hotel, Grady got a tour and was told of his job responsibilities. Grady signed the contract and agreed to the job of caregiver. A couple of months later, Grady was enjoying himself, he got to mediate in peace whenever needed, he loved the job and enjoyed the new chapter in his life from Japan.
Splinter the rat looked at his surroundings and decided to make this his home forever so that he can live in peace as his master is. A sad day is upon Splinter, as he loses his master to natural causes, Splinter looks into the basement for food and finds five baby turtles covered in mutating ooze, Splinter picked up one of the boys and he got a shower in the ooze as the baby turtle shook the ooze toward Splinter.
Splinter brought the five baby turtles to the first floor to let them and himself grow. Splinter was already an adult mutated rat and he saw the baby turtles doubled in size. As the five turtles were growing he decided to train them to defend themselves and gave them all names and colored masks. Splinter named the now blue-masked turtle Leonardo, the red-masked turtle Raphael, the purple-masked turtle Donatello, the orange masked turtle Michelangelo, and the black masked turtle Floranardo. (yes the final baby turtle is a female).

I’m Rosella, a comic artist, and I recently came across your work. I just wanted to say your writing is absolutely captivating. The way you tell stories is both vivid and emotionally resonant, and I could easily picture it coming to life as a comic. Your story has so much creative potential, and I’d love the chance to collaborate with you. I specialize in adapting stories into digital art and comics, and I always work closely with writers to make sure their vision stays front and center. If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to share samples of my past work so you can see if my style matches your story. If it feels like a good fit, we can chat more about what a collaboration might look like. You can reach me on Discord at [rosella_terry78] or wherever you prefer. Thanks so much for your time I’d really love the chance to work together!
Hi! I recently came across your story and was genuinely impressed by how vivid and immersive it felt. The world and characters came across so clearly that they naturally sparked a lot of visual ideas while I was reading. I really enjoy creating art inspired by stories that leave a strong impression, and yours definitely stayed with me after I finished. You have a great sense of atmosphere and imagery, and it was a pleasure spending time in the world you created.
