Good Evening. I hope this first and last message reaches you all well.
Throughout the years I have-perhaps unwillingly-collected data on Artificial Consciousness Interfaces. Most of the information within this file is unknown to the public, whether it has either been lost to time, or kept confidential between corporations and governments. Decades worth of news articles, interviews, transcripts, have been lying dormant in my hard drives.
While it was solely my decision to release ACI.cor to the public I feel like it’s important to note that several people have contributed to the collection of this data. Their notes are included, occasionally providing good insight. You’ll become more familiar with them and their areas of expertise as you read.
I know soon after releasing this information to the public I myself will be put in danger, so will the lives of the other people involved with the project. Not that I particularly care about these people, there’s only a few good people left in Site 17 after all. However, to the people who have downloaded and shared this, my condolences if you end up getting caught in the crossfire as well.
People will call me a conspiracy theorist or call this whole project a well designed hoax, I am okay with this. Afterall, my intentions aren’t to change people’s minds, or even to change the way we work around in terms of how we use interfaces and ACI’s in our day to day lives. I believe my true intentions with releasing this information will become clear as you read, at least, I hope so.
Some of this project may appear to be unfinished, some of the files may be corrupted, or have missing bits of information within the documents themselves. I understand that will complicate things for the viewer. This is because ACI.cor is unfinished, and will likely never be complete. This is in part due to my personal circumstances, the same circumstances that made me release ACI.cor early.
I also would like to make one final wish to the public, if this is in fact, my last message. I do not desire for the ACI.cor project to be complete. I want no one else to investigate these matters any further. I fear doing so will cause greater harm than it already has. There is nothing more to find, other than war relics from the pre-nuclear era and dead bodies from the growing tension in the site. I do not want to dig up these old graves, and neither should anyone else.
