Chapter 1
There once lived a girl named Zoe her parents were very rich, so they worked all the time. She was used to being alone, but she had friends at school. Her 16th birthday was coming up and she decided to host a birthday party since she was very popular so she was sure everyone in town was going to be there, including her parents. On the day of Zoe's birthday, she woke up excited as ever and decided to check if her parents had remembered. "Good morning, mom and dad. Do you remember what day today is?" Her parents replied."Umm... Saturday"No, it's my birthday. Remember you guys said that you would be there for my birthday party." "Sweetie, we completely forgot. Happy birthday, tho we have to get to work or we will be late. Love you." In a sad voice, she says,"I love you too, guys." She said."I won't let them ruin my fantastic day."I better get dressed for my party in 1 hour." While dressing her best friend Mary calls her to tell that she wont be able to make it to her birthday party but she doesn't even care anymore.She wore her best outfit and shoes and she sat in the sofa waiting for everyone to come to the party but sadly no one made it. At 10pm her parents arrived home to find her crying and asked her why she is crying but she just says"You all forgot about my birthday the biggest day of my life no one else showed up but I hoped the my own parents would. Zoe's parents apologized and said, "we had a rough day at work. Good night, we will make it up to you, we promise."You guys always make promises that you guys can't keep I..I..I hate you .You and all my stupid friend, I wish you guys would care more about me!!!"She sat their and cried herself to sleep and as she woke up she was looking for her parents to apologize but relizes that they left to another country on a business/vacation trip for a week without her so she packed her bags,got tickets and went to start a new life in a diffferent country she got a best friend,got into a new school ,met new people and her parents didn't even bother looking for her.
