The Egg
It was the evening, the sun lied on the horizon across the ocean waters hitting the shore with its small waves. The weather is calm with a little breeze.
A girl is playing on the beach. She's only 7. She wore a white one piece swimsuit with flowers on it. Red, yellow, and blue flowers were on it. She laughed for a moment but she stopped by a reflection in the ocean. She saw something. It's an egg she sees. It drifts by the soft waves onto the sand.
She ran up to it. It started to hatch. It opened at the bottom. It opened like an xenomorph egg but at the bottom side. The creature came out. Slimy on four legs, and small spikes on its back and end of its tail.
"What are you? Where's your mommy and daddy?" She asked. "Your a cute animal" she exlaims. "My name is Sarah, what's yours?" She asked acting like it can speak. "I think I'll call youu... Bermuda." Sarah said.
The sun is setting and it's getting darker. Sarah's mother came out. "Sarah, come inside it's getting dark out!" She shouted. She searched for Sarah and when she found her she found Sarah she saw Bermuda.
Sarah had Bermuda in her hand. Bermuda moved on her finger. It felt like a hug to Sarah. It tickled Sarah giggled. Her mom grabbed her hand. Bermuda fell on the sand. Bermuda rolled back on her feet and gave Sarah a look that expressed a goodbye miss you already on her face. "Come on Sarah let's get inside." Her mom said. "Ok" said Sarah.
They walked away. Bermuda tried to follow but every couple steps she would fall. When she finally got to Sarah the entrance door closed.
Bermuda then got hit on her head. She wiggled it and gave a small roar.
The Sun went down and Bermuda lied down on the side of the door to sleep.
Sarah lied in bed and her mother gave her a goodnight kiss and said goodnight. Sarah's bedroom door closed. She lied down so still then moved to her right side and saw a picture of her father. "I miss you daddy." She said. She yawned and fell asleep.
