Summary

(Family-friendly) Purposely written for anyone who prefers less descriptive wording, but still wants a fun and exciting story that moves at a good pace. The Chain Bridge Mysteries "A Clock Strikes 13" introduces Quinn (Mr Spin A lot) and Wilde (lover of pocket meat, note taking and anything soft and beige), Quinn's dog Blu (also a lover of Wilde's pocket meat) and the weird and wonderful mysteries of the bridge in the mist. In this first debut story, we also meet The Crow Man... Notes to readers: There is intentional lack of punctuation with Quinn (he needs to get the words out before he forgets and rambles). Some of the characters have traits based on the author's children - who have ADHD, Autism, Tourettes and other fantastic quirks.

PREFACE

Dear Readers,

Welcome to the first enchanting tale in “The Chain Bridge Mysteries” series, where the extraordinary becomes an integral part of everyday life.

In the vast landscape of literature, there has been a genuine need for family-friendly stories that mirror the realities of everyday living when the world around you perceives you as odd, quirky, weird, or strange, even though, in truth, you are just as amazing as anyone else.

As a mother of three remarkable children, each navigating their unique journey on the spectrum, and armed with over twenty-five years of experience in the realm of special needs, I am thrilled to share a fictional story that not only captivates but also celebrates the beauty and resilience of our wonderful, albeit often challenging, community.

Within these pages, you will encounter characters who beautifully reflect the unique qualities found in individuals on the spectrum. The narrative unfolds in a way that beckons readers of all kinds to embark on a shared journey with Quinn, Wilde, and the ever-present dog, Blu, in their first adventure. Together, in "A Clock Strikes 13" they navigate the mysterious and vaguely familiar world of the Crow Man and the re-appearance of the ghostly chainbridge.

Warmest regards,

D. A. Green

P.S. Quinn tends to ramble, eager to express himself before the words slip away, and he might forget the occasional punctuation :)
