Lost Pirate Lords

(Caspians pov)

Salt water sprayed in Caspians face, his arms resting on the railing of his ship. The sun was sinking below his beloved sea, the sky was painted in reds and oranges.

His ship was appropriately named for the solid black wood and sails that stood out against the sky. The sails were a deep ebony black, however when the light hits them they shimer a wine red. Lanters lighting the ship gave it a haunting feel, their redish orange glow casting light on the dark wood.

He looked over to his crew and sighed slightly, disappointment crossing his face momentarily like waves on the sea. While he wasnt mad at his crew, he wasnt exactly proud of them. He sighed and dropped his head to look down at the water rushing past his ship. It had been 3 weeks at sea and still no sign of his fathers.

"Rough seas be crowding your mind?" He turned to see a small black haired woman walking up to rest their hands on the railing with him. Opal. His friend.

"Just thought id have

something

to go off of by now.. some way to find him." He shrunk a bit, his shoulders slumping in defeat.

"Welll, we havent checked Tortuga yet. Maybe we could learn something there."

She turned their honey colored eyes up to him and shrugged. They had a strong point, Tortuga was a place his dad frequently visited to buy rum and other random stuff.

He watched her run off to go instruct people to go set sail in the direction of Tortuga. Once they were out of sight he reached down his tenchcoat pocket and pulled out a compass. When he first got it he was confused as to why it never pointed north until Jack had explained it to him. It spun in a circle and just kept spinning. Never pointing in one direction for more then a second.

Caspian turned and climbed up the netting leading up to the crows nest. His silver and brown eyes scanning the horizon, watching for Tortuga to show itself to him. His long hair tied up in a ponytail. He fidgeted with his braid that hung down from the rest of his hair. The beads and feather in it glinting in the sinking sun. He grumbled and slid back down onto the deck.

Opal shot past him after seeing Tortugas port and launched herself into the cold dark waters. He ran to the edge and looked down seeing her swim to port. He laughed at their frantic swimming and jumped in after her, knowing his crew was good enough to make port. Caspian got to the dock and pulled himself up onto the wooden platform, his boots making a large puddle underneath him.

He saw his ship slowly pull into the spot he paid for. The crew threw down a rope for him to tie up The Obsidian. He ran off into the closest bar and up to the bartender.

"Hey. You've been here for quite a bit. Has a pirate named Captian Jack Sparrow came here..like.. at all-?", the mans head shot up so fast Caspian thought it broke for a second.

"HAVE I! Dear boy that man is a regular here. Why this whole town knows him!" Caspian blinked in shock and smiled nervously

"Heyyyy buddy, take it easy. Listen Cas here just needs to know where Jack is. Its his dad after all." He looked down and grumbled at Opal. While yes he wanted to find his dad, he didnt exactly want the whole world to know his relation to him.

"Hehe, ya would never guess. Your friend here looks good for a pirate. Well, jack and his crew make dock for the festival tomorrow evening. It hosts music and drinking games."

"Perf. Darlin you can play most stringed instruments, that may be your key to finding him." Caspian gave her a look of pure confusion, his mouth dropped open slightly, eyes and brows raised.

She looked up at the 6ft male who looked for all the world doubtful, they understood of course. The chances of Sparrow recognizing his own child was slim, especially if he had been drinking prior. And her darling bird had changed quite a bit in the last few weeks.

they had the misfortune of getting ensnared in a curse from some sea witches who made them have animalistic features that they arnt to pleased about. Caspian now dawning two large sparrow wings, ram horns, as well as a long bird tail he kept tucked safely in his pants.

Opal now had the misfortune of having fairy wings and ears, a raccoon tail, and goat horns. They were starting to get use to it and all but it still wasnt much fun. She remembered the night her birdys wings ripped out through his shoulders. They had to stay up for hours trying to help the wings come out without hurting him anymore.

they sighed and drug him off to the festivals grounds that were still being set up. Knowing that there was still hope of the captain being able to recognize his son.
