Keeping secrets vs. revealing truth…
"I’ve finished the first 4 chapters and part of the 5th chapter of this book so far, and I’m really enjoying this story, just like I enjoyed book number one in this series! Crystal and Dender have a bunch of adorable (though also potentially dangerous) little werewolf kids, and there are also a bunch of secrets everywhere! Is it better to keep the secrets or reveal the truth? And to who? Crystal’s parents visit, and Crystal and Dender are just pretending that they don’t have kids. Is this the right move? And then Crystal’s Dad reveals to Dender about how his car had hit a creature who had seemed to be a wolf a while back, and Dender does not take this information well, but he also doesn’t tell his father-in-law why it is that the information is agitating him so much. And then let’s not forget that Dender doesn’t even know who the biological father of the kids is! This is a great book for getting a reader to ponder when it might be good to reveal truths and when maybe keeping things secret might make more sense, and the plot is very good and there are lots of great characters and excellent humor in the tale too! I highly recommend reading this story, and I look forward to finding out how the rest of it goes!…"
