Chapter 1

Sighing, I looked around and kept my walk to my house.

I just left my workplace; it was nighttime as I made my way to my house again.

Walking alone, I just looked at the almost empty street in front of me.

There weren’t many people passing by, I looked to my left and saw a store as I thought of grabbing some snacks.

I kept my walk and headed inside, looking around the food corner as I picked some stuff for myself.

I made my way to the counter to pay for the things, The cashier looked outside and then back at the items gulping as he handed the things back.

I left the store and made my way back, I remembered the cashier’s strange behavior and ignored it by thinking, he must be looking out for the danger of thieves.

Continuing my journey again, I didn’t pay much attention to my surroundings.

Reaching the house, I quickly pulled out the keys from my purse and opened the door to head inside.

Walking in, putting the things down, and arranging everything, I turned on the TV and sat down to eat to fill my hunger.

A horror movie was playing, as I ate while my eyes were stuck on the TV in front of me,

I grabbed and sipped the cold drink then put it aside.

I sighed as I looked down from the TV and got up to pick up the stuff and clean up everything.

Living alone, you are the only one who has to manage everything.

I cleaned everything, as I looked at the time, and turned the TV off.

Laying down on the bed, after putting a morning alarm on my phone, I put it aside closed my eyes, and felt how tired I was.

I slept quickly as I didn’t pay attention to the breath hitting the back of my neck.
