Lovely!

"This book is wonderful! I totally enjoyed the plot and the world building. The Author's writing style is beautiful, and it paints a perfect image of the story. I feel for Amelia, Jace and John, and I am so happy that they got the end they deserved. If you are looking for a fast paced, short, fantasy novella, I'd definitely recommend this. Well done!"

I LOVE THIS!

"I absolutely love this; I read the first chapter and am completely hooked on the book. Your writing skills are awesome! When I was reading the first chapter, how you put detail into everything felt like I was reading something that a professional writer would make. Also, the way it was so detailed made me picture everything! I completely love this; you are doing such a great job! "

Can be better, has potential!

"The story is neatly written. The language, vocabulary and sentence construction is perfect. Basic plot is also good. But I would like to see more details of everything and feel the story much much more. Descriptions of personalities to land scapes to motives, which I found completely lacking. I wish only to convey so that the story can attain it's full potential. Please keep writing as it's journey and we all are learning as we go. All the best! "

Nikki's Review

""Following Amelia on her journey of self-discovery has been a remarkable experience. This character has endured significant loss, yet her unwavering determination to move forward is truly inspiring. As a reader, I've become emotionally invested in Amelia's story, and I can't wait to see how her journey unfolds and where her resilience leads her."

First Chapter Review

"The chapters are really short here. (I prefer that instead of reading a 5k introduction chapter with unnecessary details) Your writing is good, and there's no need to go over grammar, spelling, and so on. However, there's one point that really confused me. The half-breeds attack the MC's home in search of her, the full-blooded silver. They kill her parents and then... Why did they just leave her alone? In the next chapters, the MC goes to her aunt. What happened to the attacking group? Her mother mentioned that she won't let them use her as a weapon, but she didn't have to do anything anyway because they just left. Before her mother dies, she says to her daughter, "You must run, my dear. Find a safe place and hide, but more importantly, take the Book of Secrets with you. It holds the key to our destiny, to your destiny. Promise me, no matter what happens, you'll protect it." I understand a mother's desire for her daughter to survive, but it seems odd to prioritize the book over her own daughter's life. Also, how should she find a safe place? Was there a secret passage or something for her to escape? I've maybe overseen something, if you could explain that to me, I'll change the plot and overall rating."

It's technically not bad.

"I like how you string the words together. The formatting is nice and concise. Generally, nothing is in the way of me from reading the whole thing... Except for the plot. It feels like reading a history book. There's little to no world building. Why do half-bloods hunt pure blood? Won't it be better if they side with pure blood? You know, you can only make more half-bloods with more pure bloods. The characters are one-note. None of them feels interesting. The MCs aren't relatable. They don't have their own traits to differentiate themselves. There's no development between them. Chapter 7 Amelia is the same as Chapter 15 Amelia. Also, dialogs don't have feelings to them. I hope this helps."

Meh

"I had to stop reading when all the pertinent details kept being in the first sentence of each paragraph, and the rest unnecessary to the plot made it unenjoyable to read. I was able to speed read all the chapters I read in a few mins. A well written book is not one you can speed read. That said, the plot is good. It's followable. However, there are plot holes aplenty. If this story was tied together differently, with a focus on pertinent details that were missed, it would be a real page turner. The author is quite good at sentence structure and grammar, certainly knows enough to tell a good story, it just needs some finessing. If this book is ever edited, I would gladly give it another go."
