Primera Parte

Todo muere y renace, es el ciclo de la vida, nunca lo pensé así hasta que le conocí. Y no, esta no es la típica historia de amor, no, para nada, esta historia es sobre mi alma y su alma.

Hace muchos años conocí a un chico, a un chico muy lastimado, con tantas heridas en el interior que no encontraba ayuda, era un alma vieja, ahora lo sé, ahora lo entiendo, entiendo porque no se sentía ayudado, porque él paso años ayudando y cuando ayudas mucho, sientes que nadie puede hacerlo mejor que tu mismo y fue el caso, él peleo por mucho tiempo, peleaba por quedarse aquí, aunque la vida no se lo ponía fácil, era un golpe tras otro. Cada que levantaba la cabeza el destino lo hundía dos veces mas profundo, hasta que llego al punto que se abandonó, dejo de luchar y tomaría el camino fácil y digo fácil no porque sea fácil poner el punto final, sino por todo lo que podrías dejar atrás y sobre todo ahora que lo sé, que tendría que volver a vivir todo ese daño y dolor.

Él estaba al borde del risco y yo en la parte firme de la tierra, aunque estoy hablando casi literal. Cuando lo conocí estaba al borde del edificio, yo había salido a tomar aire y tomar fotografías del cielo. Parecía extremadamente decido, pero siempre esta ese ultimo pensamiento, eso que te detiene un poco antes de saltar, esa última esperanza ese último grito de ayuda inaudible y parece que escuche ese grito, al parecer los artistas escuchamos en esa frecuencia, es la frecuencia que solo los animales pueden escuchar, pero ellos no pueden hacer mucho en estos casos.

Lo mire ahí, contemplando a la nada, su cara triste y decidida, era una imagen que debía capturar, era lo que un artista haría, plasmar imágenes que causen emociones en las personas, una imagen que diga miles de cosas, levante mi cámara y clic. El se volteo y yo quede paralizada y avergonzada, ¿Quién en su sano juicio toma una foto de un casi cadáver? Fue tan morboso e irrespetuoso.

– Lo siento –le dije avergonzada, bajando la cámara lentamente. El solo me miro, esos ojos tan tristes y llenos de esperanzas. Algo me pedí ayudarlo, sabia que iba a hacer, pero nadie en el mundo te enseña como persuadir a una persona al borde de un edificio– Solo salí a tomar fotos, soy fotógrafa y me llamo Amelia...

– Hola Amelia –dijo secamente y yo sonríe, al menos no estaba tan muerto aún.

–¿Tu eres? –inquirí curiosa.

– Sebastián. –“El Sahara es menos seco que él”fue lo único que pensé.

– Supongo que es una bueno vista la que tienes ahí –Me acerque lentamente, sus ojos seguían cada paso que daba mientras me acercaba a él.

– No estoy por la vista.

– Yo sí, –subí al borde a su lado– ¿has visto Titanic? Es muy linda, pero al final mucha gente muere. –Me miro con ironía–, la cosa es que... Si saltas yo salto, esa es frase la usa Jack, pero estaban sobre un barco y las probabilidades de sobrevivir de ambos eran muchas, aquí pues no, así que no, si tu saltas no iré tras de ti, pero llamaría a urgencias, aunque no sé si podría, el shock no me permitiría. Así que no saltes por favor.
