Prologue ~
He ran. He needed it. He was angry and frustrated and needing to vent on his own body to find relief. He’s running for all he’s worth through the forests surrounding the Appalachian Trail…
Heracles mutters in his mind 🐺 I don’t know why you let him get to us this much! He is nothing to us! Rejecting us at such a young age and now that he realizes how powerful we are.. he wants us back? Fuck him! He is not our father! Charles is our father! Matthew and Kenneth are our brothers!
I’m just running my frustration out… we will be fine! I’m just confused as to why.. 15 years.. 15 years and neither he nor any of his other sons have tried to contact us. Nothing! And now they expect us to just drop in for a visit.

He rounds a tree and sees her. She’s with a group of several girls… hiking the trail with a guide… they’re heading back down the mountain. He kept pace with the group.. well hidden in the dark of the forest.
He watched her closely.. entranced by her very being. He memorizes every detail… her 5’ frame and her fiery red waist length hair.. her perfect ass in ripped jeans.. her tiny hands and feet. And her face. The face of an angel! What color are her eyes? Her full lips and adorable turned up nose.. and her ears! Her precious little ears, pointed at the very tip.
Who is she? 🐺 Follow her bus! We have to follow her bus!
🐺’We can’t.. we will come back in the morning with Aaron and Brian… we will track her scent.’
🐺 NO! We wait and we will lose her, Orion! We weren’t supposed to have a mate! Everyone told us we wouldn’t get one.. and now we do! And you’re going to lose her!
🐺’We won’t lose her. We can track her scent’ If you lose her, I will bite you. Again Hera… not possible!’
🐺 I will lick every toilet seat I see for a solid month! Well, that he will do!
The next morning, Orion told Aaron and Bryan he needed them to help him track his mate. They shot question after question at him but he had no real answers. So, they headed to the Appalachian forest to pick up her scent. But, luck was against him.. it had stormed in the night and all scent traces were lost. And so began the search… for the mate he was told would never be his.
Orion Demeter is a hybrid wolf. Half hellhound.. and half demon wolf…. making him the strongest wolf in the world. Hellhounds aren’t born one… their blood changes in puberty.. and they are only recognized at their first shift. They have a distinctive odor of flame and brimstone…all hellhounds eyes burn red when they’re shifted… except the higher ranks. And only one has eyes the color of true turquoise.. their king… Orion Demeter.
He has been called Lucifer.. Belial.. Devil.. none of those names bothered him. He knows he is directly descended from the first hellhound… the only one to ever escape from hell. His father upon realizing his mistress was half demonwolf… murdered her… blaming her for the abomination of her child..
He is the bastard son of Alpha Elden Demeter of Blackwater Pack in Canada. At the age of six.. when he first shifted… it was obvious what he was.. and his father and brothers nearly beat him to death. He was dragged to the edge of the border and left for dead.
His adopted brothers Matthew and Kenneth found him.. essentially saving his life. Their father, Charles, raised Orion as his own. Helping him learn to control his demon.. trained him.. teaching him how to use his powers. Hellhounds are larger.. stronger and harder to kill than any other wolf… Orion is now their Alpha. They respond to no other authority. Essentially making Orion their King.
He travels all over the continent.. accepting all hellhounds into his family.. otherwise, they are murdered. People destroy what they don’t understand…
