The Drenchester Forest

“Let’s go into that forest!” Jim suggested, “Bro have you not seen the missing persons reports? They all happened in this forest one of their bodies was even found in a treetop,” Gus replied. “Grow up bro those are just rumours, The missing persons reports were probably just a prank anyways!” Jim said. “But why would they fake that?” replied Gus. “To scare little kids, why else would they?” Jim explained. So they walked over to the car and started the engine. "Bro they were real some families have just put some up today!" Gus said in a worried voice. Jim pushes Gus. "We should bring Jackson with us he wont be scared!" Jim exclaimed. They take a sharp right hand turn and almost crash into a light post. "Bro! We could've died right then and there!" Gus said worriedly. "Oh grow up Gus, That was fun to be honest!" Jim said excitedly. By the time they had arrived at jacksons house it was 12:43 AM. They picked up Jackson and drove to the forest, it took them 16 minutes to get to the forest. "We're here!" Jackson exclaimed excitedly. "I'm not so sure about this it seems pretty dangerous to be honest," Gus said worriedly. "Bro come one we can make our own huts with sticks aswell!" Jim exclaimed. "I'm going in without you two. You're taking too long to convince him mate," Jackson said as he walked off. "Bro come on you're safer with us anyway!" Jim said to Gus trying to convince him to come camping with them. "Fine then, but as soon as something goes wrong I'm going straight home. This place is pretty unsettling," Gus said annoyed. As they yelled out to find Jackson they saw him running back and screaming."Guys! There's something in there! It tried to eat me its lanky and fast I barely escaped." Jackson said with hardly any breath left. "Oh my god the rumours are totally true bro! I am not 5 you can't scare me with that," Jim replied to him. They all walked into the forest together when Jim heard a stick snap behind him. "Jackson, Gus, what was that?" Jim asked them worriedly. "Are you scared or something?" Gus and Jackson replied. "Pfft, No why would I be scared?" Jim replied to their joke. They kept on walking when Jackson heard whispering from behind them. "What was that?" Jackson asked. "I don't know did you hear it Gus?" Jim replied. "I heard that, they were whispering that they were coming for us," Gus explained. Jackson looks behind him and sees a lanky figure dart behind a thick tree. He grabs his flashlight and starts walking towards the tree. "Guys stay there with your flashlights on so I can see where you are. Because I just need to check something," Jackson said in a worried voice. He is approaching the tree. He turns the corner and nothing is there. He aims his flashlight up. He feels something grab his leg. "AHHHHHHHH!" Jackson screams out as he gets pulled behind a large tree. "What was that?!" yells Gus as he turns around as fast as possible. *CRUNCH* *SPLAT* "Should we go check that out?" Jim asks. "No that sounded brutal," replies Gus. "Ok then" Jim acceptedly says. *SNAP* Gus turns and his eyes dart around the forest, "What could be following us?" Gus says. "God knows what could," Jim replies. "Just grab a bunch of sticks and make the best hut you can make while being cautious of what could lurk here. Also use leaves and bark for covers." Jim tells gus. *SCREECH* "What was that..." Gus and Jim ask at the same time. They finish building their huts and try going to sleep. Gus is about to go to sleep when a note slips through a hole in his cover. The note reads "I'm waiting for you." With some blood on it. Gus walks out of his hut. "Haha, funny joke J-" When he sees a tall demon like figure outside his hut. The demon opens up his mouth and Gus sees blood dripping from his teeth. The demons hands grip around Gus and pull him closer to his mouth. *CRUNCH*. The next morning Jim wakes up. He sees Gus' arm on the floor next to his hut with a whole lot of blood on the cover of his hut. "Guys good prank, you got me, you can come out now!" Jim yells out shakily. No response and dead silence. Then Gus jumps out from behind the tree. "BOO!" yells Gus to try and scare Jim. "Bro that was horrifying but now where's Jackson?" Jim asks. Jim blinks and Gus is gone. "What is happening?" Jim asks in a scared tone. "I'm just going to go and walk back to my car hopefully not disturbing anyone or anything that resides here." He says while shaking and walking back to his car. Once he gets to the car he sees that the windows are all fogged up. He tries rubbing it off but the fog is on the inside. He opens the door and sees the bodies of Gus and Jackson. Then he gets a whiff of an awful smell. The smell is so bad it makes him vomit and pass out. He wakes up in a chair with a mask that looks like a demon with spinning saws. There are two that constantly clang together and cause sparks. The mask starts coming towards him and he finds a loose screw. It seems too late but he still tries to unscrew it with his sweaty hands. The saws are about to hit him straight in the face when. The screw comes out. A spark hits him on the face and burns his face. "AHHHHHHH HELP ME PLEASE HELP!" He screams out in pain. His eyes dart around the room. It looks like he's in some abandoned warehouse. But there's no one in the warehouse. "Who did this, who brought me here?" Jim said worriedly. Gus and Jackson come in from around the corner. "What how are you here, I saw you guys' dead bodies in my car." Jim said shakily. Gus and Jackson start laughing in a demonic pitch and voice. Jim runs up the stairs and gets to a hiding spot. He is panting with his hand over his mouth so that they don't hear him. "Come out Jim," Gus says with a demonic tone. But Jim feels something in his pocket. When he pulls it out he sees a container with pills and on the label, it reads "Prescribed Schizophrenia Medication for Jim Claxtor," "But I don't have schizophrenia. Whatever I might as well take them just in case," Jim says to himself quietly. In small text on the label, it explains how to take them. "2 every half an hour and wash down with water? Ok, I guess..." Jim says quietly. He takes two and sneaks to the bathroom to get water from the tap. Gus and Jackson disappear and he has time to go and have a snack. He walks over to the kitchen and grabs a can of soup. "Welp, here we go I guess." Jim says hesitantly. He gets some soup out and eats it. He kind of likes it. "I guess this will have to do." Jim says to himself. He walks over to the warehouse exit. When he pulls the handle down it comes clean off, and he sees a bit of writing on the glass that says: "BULLETPROOF GLASS" he knows he can't get out so he just accepts that he's going to die in some way but tries surviving as long as possible. He sees a room that has a sign, the sign says: "Emergency Phone call $2 for 1 minute" he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a silver circle. "Yeah, that's very helpful." Jim says sarcastically. he hears the footsteps again and run into my hiding spot again. This time after he takes the medication they don't leave. For some reason, they are real this time. Jackson's eyes dart over to me. He comes running at him and just as he's about to ram into Jim he passes out. When Jim wakes up. He sees a grave dug up that has the name "Jim Claxtor" next to two graves that have the names "Gus Placero" and "Jackson Sklang" When he feels a shove on his back that makes him trip into the whole. He sees a demon like figure staring over him waving when a huge pile of dirt drops on him and all he can see is black.

Taste of Passion

musa moo: Its a sweet story. The writing is very good. The only thing I found wanting was the structurisation. Whenever there was a change in scenario or situation, I wish there was some kind spacing or something to indicate that there's a change ahead. Because of that it became a bit confusing in the middle ...
