There was a village on the south of the world, covered by deep forests on one side and cloud piercing mountains on the other, It was a village unaffiliated with any kingdoms or empires. One day, In the fiery dance of destruction, where homes crumbled and skies wept crimson, the village stood witness to a massacre that would echo through the ages at that land. A nameless force, cloaked in darkness, swept through the village, leaving behind naught but shattered lives and the lingering scent of an impending, unseen doom.

Many had lost their loved ones, their friends and their families. In a midst of this doom even small kids were forced to fight for their own life. A young boy seemingly covered in blood of his parents, who were killed in front of his eyes was running for his life.

“Arghh!!”

He was exhausted and ran for his life for hours as the horrific scene of what happened to his village and his family haunted him down. While running he only thought about one thing,‘Why!!??, What did the innocent people of this village do to deserve this terror?’

He had been seriously wounded before he could escape. His legs were about to give up, He had stopped running and was on his knees. The vision of his eyes were becoming blurred. then he heard a distant voice saying,

“Hey guys! that twerp who ran away is right there. Let’s go!”

These were voices of the people who had wounded him before.

“UGH!!, It-it seems like I cannot run anymore.”

He vomited blood out of his mouth as he looked up and saw those who had ravaged his village, killed his friends and family.

“Looks like you cannot run anymore! A puny little squirt like you running this far is impressive. But this is the end of your pointless efforts.”

‘Seems like this is it for me too!!’ As he thought of these words, the happy moments he had with his family, villagers and friends flashed through his mind. He felt a responsibility, to avenge the people that he had lost.

‘NO!!! If I am going to die here, I am taking out these guys with me. I will not go down without a fight. I will avenge those innocent lives.’

A sudden surge of power flowed through his veins, It was as if his body was burning from inside. He stared at those who came after him.

“What?, you changed your mind and want to fight back? You think an useless brat like you who cannot even stand properly is in a position to take down all of us??”

He saw this as his only opportunity, he quickly took out a small knife that his mother gave him to protect himself before she died in front of his own eyes. He stabbed two guys in neck instantly with the knife.

“What? Where did the brat hide that knife?” One of the guys shouted.

Just as he is about to go after another person, someone from the group grabs him.

“Hey brat! Stop resistance and just die already. Taking out one or two of my men will not affect the outcome.”

He struggled and even tried to stab that person, but that person broke the knife with his bare hands.

‘He broke it using his hands!!??’

“Y-You will pay for this terror. I will not forgive an-any of you for your actions.”

“Oh really!! Are we supposed to be scared by someone who is soon to be dead??” he stabs the boy in his heart with his dagger. The small surge of power that was flowing through him suddenly vanished.

‘Th-this is bad, I-I feel my body getting cold. A-am I really going to die like this?’ He almost fell unconscious. His heart was starting to beat slower and slower every second.

“Just look at him, how pathetic have they become. Unable to even protect themselves.”

“You are right general, Let’s torture him before killing. After all we have to pass our time, everyone in the village seems to have already died. ”

“he is right gener-” Just as he was about to finish his sentence, A mysterious force cut through his neck.

“W-what just happened!!?? My eyes couldn’t see anything.” Their leader seemed to be surprised.

Within seconds, almost all of the people from group were killed. A shadow appeared in the fog and said,” That boy’s existence is critical for the future of this world. It is not the time for him to die just yet.”

“Wh-what, Who are you?? Do you have any idea who you are dealing with??”

The fog cleared as the man stepped towards their leader.

He seemed to be frightened by just looking at the man.

‘Those crimson red hairs, and sharp eyes that can even make astral beings frightened, spear that can cut through anything, And those clothes. There’s no mistake, It is him..’ the leader seemed to recognise the person in front of him.

“W-why are you helping him?? No I should be asking How can someone like you even come here?? You are not supposed to be able to descend here! Amano Yasha the heave-” The body of general seems to be cut in countless pieces by the mysterious man.

“That is enough of your babbling. I am not here to talk with you.” He takes the boy with him and finishes everyone else who were after him.”

“T~thanks, I do not know who you are, but thank you for avenging m~my friends and family. I c~can now die peacefully.”

“My name is Amano Yasha, and if you really want to thank me then I am afraid dying won’t do any good. You will have to live for this world.”

“I-i don’t know what you are talking about, but my heart is already been pierced by a dagger. I will die even before reaching the nearest town.”

“Just leave that to me and rest for now. You have already been through a lot tonight.”

After that the boy fell unconscious.
