Beginning
"Why are you rejecting my offer, son? Look at me. I'm on the edge of my limit. Your father is now old and weak. I can't be the CEO of our company forever," the old man said, seriously.
He was looking at his only child who was not paying attention to him. His young lad was busy on his laptop while eating some pepperoni pizza.
"Karsan, are you listening to me?" he groaned in frustration.
The guy sighed and looked at his father. He closed the laptop as he leaned back on his swivel chair and crossed his arms together on his chest.
"I am not interested in our kind of business, Dad. You forced me to be an engineer to help you in our company. I did what you said even if you knew that I want to have my restaurant. Your proposal for being the CEO of Lionheart Corp is too much," Karsan explained.
The old man stared at him with a little hint of disappointment in his eyes. Wrinkles and other signs of being old were visible on his face. His hair was not that thick anymore and the way he stood was not as firm as before. A typical old man.
"Just give it a try, son. Why don't you visit and try being the CEO in the meantime while Samantha is still training?" his father implied, hopeful.
Karsan let out a loud and deep breath. "Dad, I am already building the restaurant that I want. In just a matter of time, it will be done."
"Please, Karsan. Try it for at least five months. This is my last request. I promise," the old man pleaded.
He loves and values his Dad so much. That's why he became an engineer even though he didn't want to. All his life, he wanted to have his own business. He is a fan of food and dreams to be a great chef someday. But seeing his father pleading in front of him is heartbreaking.
He stood up and took his laptop. "Three months. I will be the temporary CEO of Lionheart Corp for three months."
"That would be enough. Thank you, son," his Dad replied.
Karsan shook his head and made his way out of the room. He went to his den on the second floor of their mansion as he was sighing while heading toward his walk-in closet. He put the laptop inside his leather bag and changed his clothes. Then, he walked out of his room with his bag and went straight to the parking lot.
The decision he made was against his will. He didn't want to be the CEO of their company. But he loves his father so much, leaving him no other choice than just agreeing with him. Now, he was heading to the most expensive bar to grab some drinks.
He was peacefully driving when the easy flow of the cars ahead of him became hard. His brows furrowed because it shouldn't be traffic at this moment. It's not a rush hour and not a holiday season either. So, he slid down the window and curiously looked outside. Some drivers were out of their cars too, to know what was happening.
"Excuse me! What happened?" he asked when a man walked passed through his car.
"There was an accident in the intersection. A woman who was just passing through the pedestrian collapsed. She must've been suffering from a sudden stroke," the guy answered.
He leaned on again on his seat and let out a deep sigh. Then, he looked around up to the sky as realization slowly sank inside his mind. The sun was high and the ambiance was hot. No wonder there was an incident like that. Heat stroke can attack anyone who is busy working under the sun.
As the flow was like a phase of a turtle, he curiously looked at the other side of the road where the ambulance was when he reached the intersection. A woman was laying on the stretcher and a girl in a hoodie was. Based on the movement of the girl's shoulders, he can easily conclude that she's somewhat related to the victim. And even though he can't clearly see her face, he knew that she was crying. He's good at reading people's behavior, something that he inherits from his mother.
According to the media and other professional doctors, staying under the heat for too long can cause a sudden attack or stroke. Especially for those people who already have unstable health. That was what happened to the forty-six years old woman named, Gwen. Her body was weak and her health was not in a good condition.
"Mom, why did you do that?" A hint of slight disappointment was visible in the sweet voice of Gwen's daughter.
"I'm sorry, Paia. I just want to help you. That was just a part-time job and I was doing okay these past few days. I didn't know why this happened to me," she answered.
The girl took off her hoodie and looked at her mother. "Your good cooking skills were enough to help me, Mom. The way that you welcome me home every day after my tiring work, prepared my packed lunch, and supported me always were a great help, Mom. You don't need to work."
Gwen holds her daughter's hand and smiled. "I'm sorry, Paia. I am always a burden to you."
She shook her head. "Don't say that thing, mom. I never think of you that way. You're not a burden."
Her mother chuckled and caressed her palm. "I have an amazing and good daughter, aye? I'm the luckiest mother, I guess."
"Don't do this again, okay? Please, take good care of yourself," she smiled.
The lady nodded. "I will. Don't worry. Your mom will be good and obedient this time."
She loves her mother so much. She was just a little kid back then when her father died. Since that day, her mom gave up everything just to support, and take good care of her. Gwen worked and did multiple jobs just to earn money and provide for her needs. And even though, she was still a child, she already understood everything, making her dream of a successful future for both of them.
Thinking about what was happening now is making her lonely and disappointed. Because of what her mother did, she started questioning herself if she was doing great or not. She wants to make her mom's life easy, wonderful, and free from all stress and problem. That's why she is doing her best at work.
Paia is one of the executive directors of Lionheart Corporation. She was devoting her time and effort to her job in able to be promoted, someday. Even though she felt tired, she ignores those feelings and just continue her work. And aside from being an industrious employee, she also limits herself from wasting her money. She is so conscious of her earnings that she made sure that all of her salaries are in good use.
She was startled when her phone suddenly ring. She took it out of her pocket and was shocked when she saw who the caller was.
"Yes, hello?" she answered.
"We have an emergency meeting tomorrow morning. The Chairman has something to announce to everyone," a voice of a woman replied to the other line.
She sighed. "Did you know what is that all about?"
"I think it's because of his son or about the anniversary of the Lionheart," the caller answered.
"Okay. I'll be there tomorrow," she muttered.
"Good. See ya!" the lady exclaimed from the other line.
Paia let out a deep breath as she put her phone back into her hoodie's front pocket. Then, she looked at her mother only to find her already staring at her.
"What's wrong?" Gwen asked.
"It's about work, mom. We have an urgent meeting tomorrow," she answered.
Her mother smiled. "It's okay. Don't worry. I'm fine. The doctor said that we can go home later, right?"
"But, I want to help you at home. You should be resting after we are discharged here," she whines like a child.
The old lady chuckled and sat up, leaning her back on the headboard of her bed. "I'm fine, Paia. I promise that I will never do anything that can make you worried. Trust me, okay?"
She nodded. "I trust you, mom."
She didn't have another choice but to attend the meeting tomorrow because of her main goal. She needs to be there, do all of the tasks, and be a good employee for a chance to be chosen as one of the candidates for promotion. If she wins that opportunity, she will have a better salary and benefits. In that case, she can make her mother proud of her.
Different lights were glowing around the room together with the loud music and the smell of alcohol. Karsan was in the famous bar, sitting in the VIP room alone while playing on his laptop. Then, the door sprung open, and a gorgeous lady entered.
"What took you so long?" he asked.
The girl giggled and sat beside him. "Wife duties. My husband has a business trip tomorrow so, I need to pack his stuff first."
"Did you really need to do that? What is your husband, a child?" he grunted.
The lady nodded. "Of course! You will never understand this responsibility until you become a married person, Karsan."
He shook his head and sipped the wine in his glass. "Whatever."
"Someday, you will meet the girl of your life and you'll understand why and what responsibility is," the girl chuckled.
"Cut that crap, Monique. Let's proceed to the good part," he grunted.
Monique laughed and stood up in front of him. "You're that eager and excited, aye? What do you want? Wild or slow?"
Karsan looked at her as he started unbuttoning his shirt. "I want it rough and dirty."
The sexy lady giggled. "Your wish is my command." Then, she slipped the straps of her dress and let it fall to the floor, exposing her beautiful body.
Monique stepped out of her dress and started taking off her underwear. Then, she walked seductively, closer to the man sitting on the couch that was hungrily looking at her. And when she reached him, she sat on his lap while facing him.
"Are we safe here, lover boy?" she whispered.
"I rented this VIP room. No one is allowed to enter unless I call them," Karsan answered.
He didn't receive a reply from her but a soft flesh crashed on his lips, instead. His body heats up as lust and desire spread like a wildfire throughout his entire body. He responded to her kisses while taking off his clothes. And after several minutes, they were both naked.
His hands were roaming, massaging, and caressing Monique's soft body as they were kissing like there was no tomorrow. The fire inside him ignites as the lady keeps on grinding her core in his now hard shaft. Then in one swift move, he slid his manhood inside of her, making them groan in pleasure together.
"Ooh, Karsan. I love your c*ck so much!" Monique moaned as she moved up and down on him.
"Dance for me, Monique. F*ck!" He exclaimed.
He holds her waist and helps her gain the rhythm that he wanted. Then, he trusts his hips, too, making them curse in unison.
They didn't have any relationship at all. For a young billionaire like him, spending time with girls was like consuming his money in a useless matter and anything he wanted. But they do have something in between, an agreement. They both agree that they were just friends with benefits and nothing else. No one is allowed to fall in love with each other because Monique is a married woman and he didn't want to cross his line. He just wants to satisfy his sensual bad habit, his uncontrollable heat of lust and desire.
